teamLab est le collectif tokyoite qui cree de l'art dans lequel on marche plutot que qu'on regarde, et Phenomena est leur musee d'Abu Dhabi sur l'ile de Saadiyat : un espace concu sur mesure dans le quartier culturel a cote du Louvre.

Les oeuvres ici sont environnementales plutot que projetees : des installations qui reagissent aux courants d'air, a l'eau, a la temperature et a la presence des gens qui se deplacent a travers elles, donc deux visites ne produisent jamais la meme chose et rien n'est en boucle. Certaines salles se traversent a gue, dans d'autres on est entoure, et la frontiere entre une oeuvre et la suivante est deliberement floue.

Choses pratiques qui ameliorent la visite. Portez quelque chose dans lequel vous pouvez bouger et des chaussures faciles a retirer, car plusieurs salles se visitent pieds nus. Certains sols sont mouilles et certains espaces sont sombres avec un terrain irregulier : des chaussures plates, pas de talons. Et les sols miroirs sont une caracteristique de ce type d'oeuvre, donc les jupes et les robes valent la peine d'etre reflechies a l'avance.

Le rangement gratuit en casier et le parking sont inclus avec le billet.

This was one of the best things I’ve ever done I stayed 3&1/2 hours and realllly enjoyed each room. I didn’t just go next next. And I had the strong meditation green tea in the Japanese tea light room 😐 Go go and go it’s amazing

It was an incredible experience, and I’ll be honest it exceeded my expectations, I had such a fun time! But also I’d like to mention how friendly and attentive the staff are I cannot say one bad thing about them. There was one particular member of staff, apologies I didn’t catch the name that explained everything to me and even offered to take pictures and videos of me in the first room. Thank you again for an amazing experience!

Yes. Transport is not included here, so you make your own way to the meeting point. Taxis and Careem are cheap and everywhere, though Abu Dhabi has no metro, so a car is the way to get around. Allow for traffic, which is heavy in the late afternoon.
