Dix a douze minutes en l'air au-dessus du Golfe arabique, tracte derriere un bateau au large de JBR, avec la skyline de la Marina d'un cote et la Palm de l'autre.

Toute la sortie dure environ une heure, dont la plus grande partie est le trajet en bateau et la rotation de tout le monde a bord. Le vol lui-meme est plus calme que les gens ne l'imaginent : vous etes treuille progressivement depuis le pont et redescendu dessus, donc il n'y a pas d'elan de depart et pas d'atterrissage dans l'eau sauf si vous demandez une trempette, ce que l'equipage fera sur demande.

Vous pouvez voler en solo ou en tandem, et le tandem est le choix habituel pour quiconque est nerveux. Il n'y a aucune competence necessaire ; vous vous asseyez dans un harnais et regardez.

Instruction, equipement de securite, serviettes, eau potable et musique a bord sont inclus.

Deux remarques. C'est entierement dependant de la meteo : un vent qui va bien au niveau du sol peut empecher de voler, et l'equipage vous deplacera plutot que de vous envoyer dans de mauvaises conditions. Et apportez une attache pour vos lunettes de soleil ou laissez-les derriere vous ; c'est la chose que les gens perdent le plus souvent au-dessus du Golfe.

Yes. Transport is not included here, so you make your own way to the meeting point. Taxis and Careem are cheap and everywhere, and the Dubai Metro covers most of the main sights. Allow for traffic, which is heavy in the late afternoon.

For anything in open water, yes, and buoyancy aids are worn regardless. Say clearly at the briefing if you are a weak swimmer, because the crew will position you differently rather than turn you away.
