Da Nang est la ville de la côte centrale, trente kilomètres de plage de la péninsule de Son Tra aux montagnes de Marbre, et le point de départ des excursions du centre du Vietnam. Ba Na Hills, à 40 kilomètres à l'ouest, est une station d'altitude française reconstruite en parc à thème à 1 400 mètres, desservie par l'un des plus longs téléphériques du monde, avec le Pont d'Or soutenu par deux mains de pierre géantes ; venez tôt, il y fait frais et il y a du monde. Les montagnes de Marbre sont cinq collines calcaires de grottes et de pagodes avec vue sur la côte. Son Tra abrite la Dame Bouddha de 67 mètres et les derniers douics à pattes rouges. Le col de Hai Van, la route qui monte vers Hué, est la plus belle du pays : on la fait à moto ou en voiture, avec des arrêts aux vieux bunkers français et américains du sommet.

Two nights, two food tours — and we’d happily make it three. David started us strong with legendary banh xeo at Ba Duong, and the sizzling pancakes alone were worth the trip. Then came a perfect progression of banh mi, mi quang, and a sweet finish: avocado ice cream for me and flan for Doug.David was a standout guide. His enthusiasm, local knowledge, and nostalgic picks from his university days made the tour feel like exploring the city with a friend who knows all the best spots.Highly recommended. Five very interesting dishes. I'm not a big fan of the usual fare, but they were all extremely delicious. And the guide, David, is a great guy. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
David was a fantastic tour guide, very knowledgeable and gave great insight into the local culture of Da Nang as a whole. Also the food was delicious!
David was great. I have soy and gluten allergies and was really nervous about eating food in Da Nang. I had the idea to do a food tour so a local could help me figure out what Vietnamese dishes I could eat. From my first message, they were responsive and put my concerns to rest. I went with my parents who also don't eat beef or pork and Loi found restaurants and dishes where we all ate the most delicious food! And there was so much food! Loi is very warm and knowledgeable about the dishes and how they are prepared. My folks have been to the city before but Loi took us to restaurants the locals
David was very friendly and very informative on not just the Vietnamese food culture but anything related to Vietnam! We learned lots from him so you can feel at ease chatting with him and exploring the local food scene in Da Nang. Highly recommend!
