07h15 – 8h00:Pick up from your hotel in the Old Quarter area and departure for Ninh Binh. 09h15:Have a short break for relaxing at a stop-over about 20 minutes.

Visit Hoa Lu

10h00- 10h30:Arrive at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century, visit the temples of King Dinh and King Le. Under the introduction of our local guide, you will get to know more about the Vietnamese history. Take a bike ride to explore beautiful scenery and limestone mountains along a unique route.

Lunch at Ninh Binh

12h00: Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. Goat meat dishes are the local specialty (vegetarian food is available).

Visit Trang An by Bamboo boat

13h30:Arrive Trang An and spend about 2.5 hours exploring Trang An– the core of natural heritage in a Sampan boat, rowed by a local person. Visit Mua Cave

15h45:Get back to limousine bus then leave for Mua Cave. Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain & have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here. 17h00–17h30: Transfer to the Ninh Binh bungalow, where you can swim in the pool or cycle around the area for free. 19:00 – 19:30: Dinner at Bungalow and stay overnight here

Ninh Binh - Halong Bay - Lan Ha Bay - Kayaking - Swimming

6:30 AM Breakfast at Bungalow. 7:00AM-7:20AM Bus will pick-up from Ninh Binh home-stay and transfer to Halong Bay 11:50AM Once having arrived at the harbor, you will check in for your cruise on the Ha Long, which will begin with a welcome drink and cruise briefing.

Visit Dark Cave, Bright Cave or Ao Ech Kayaking, Swimming

Enjoy lunch while cruising to Ha Long Bay. Explore Dark Cave, Bright Cave or Ao Ech area where you can do some kayaking around limestone islets or some swimming in the sea. Enjoy a picturesque sunset on the sundeck for watching the sunset. Enjoy Happy Hour on board with some cakes and fruit.

Cooking Class, Dinner on Cruise

Watch a cooking demonstration, and have the chef help you prepare Vietnamese spring rolls. Enjoy a seafood set menu onboard. Then make your way to the bar with a large selection of cocktails. Or choose to take part in some onboard activities: squid fishing, or simply relax in your cabin for the night.

Visit Lan Ha Bay - Hanoi

Watch the sunrise with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Enjoy a light breakfast before setting off exploring. Visit the beautiful Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island . If you prefer, visit Tra Bau Kayaking and enjoy a relaxing day kayaking or swimming.

Lunch on Cruise, Check Out Cruise and Back to Hanoi

The cruise was fantastic. We ate and slept very well. One staff member, Benjamin, was amazing—attentive, friendly, and helpful. The mini golf was fun. If you can add some weights in the fitness room, some dart and a mini ping pong table. It would have been perfect. Thank you to Yen to guide us throughout the journey.

The price does not cover drinks, tip for tour guide and driver, single supplement extra surcharge 160$/per person for solo traveler single room and christmas, new year & national holiday. Everything it does cover is listed in full on this page, so if something is not on that list, budget for it separately.
Overnight cruises sleep on board; day cruises do not. Cabins on the boats we book are private with an ensuite bathroom, and the grade of boat is stated in the option you choose rather than left vague. Bay conditions occasionally force an itinerary change, which the operator decides on the morning and is not something we can promise around.
