Depart from Hanoi Old Quarter
Get picked up in the Hanoi Old Quarter and head to Ninh Binh Province. On the way, visit the Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital from the 10th century, and visit the historic King temples while learning about the country’s rich history from a local guide. Before lunch, unwind with an optional guided bike ride through scenic limestone landscapes, or explore the village on foot or relax at a local restaurant.. After, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Explore Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
Float through the tranquil rivers of Trang An on a wooden boat and climb to the top of Mua Caves for striking panoramic views of Tam Coc.
Check in to your bungalow in Ninh Binh
After arriving at your accommodation, check in before relaxing for the evening. Go for a stroll or ride a bike around the area.
Dinner and overnight stay
Enjoy a delicious dinner at the bungalow's restaurant before winding down for bed. Spend the night in comfort.
Transfer to Ha Long Bay
Have an early breakfast at the Ninh Binh Bungalow before riding in a limousine bus to Ha Long Bay.
Ha Long Bay Cruise with Lunch
Check in for the cruise and enjoy lunch onboard. Cruise past Con Vit Islet and Thumb Islet as you sail through Gia Luan Harbor and Lan Ha Bay.
Visit Ba Trai Dao Beach or the Dark & Bright Cave
Depending on the weather, either drop anchor for some kayaking or swimming at Ba Trai Dao Beach or explore the Dark and Bright Cave.
Enjoy a Sunset Party and Cooking Demonstration
As the day draws to a close, gather on the deck to enjoy the vibrant colors of the sunset as you relax with tea and coffee. Dive into Vietnamese culture as you learn how to make traditional spring rolls during a cooking demonstration.
Dinner and Evening Activities
Savor a delicious dinner onboard. Afterward, chill out at the panoramic bar, play board games, watch a movie, or go squid fishing before retiring to your cabin for the night.
Tai Chi and Breakfast
Start your day with an early morning Tai Chi session on the deck to focus the mind and condition the body. Enjoy a light breakfast while taking in stunning views of the bay and its dramatic limestone islets.
Sail to Ao Ech or Visit Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island
Depending on the weather and cruise itinerary, either sail through the calm emerald waters to Ao Ech for a kayaking trip and swimming or visit Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island.
Enjoy Lunch Onboard
After your adventure, enjoy some Vietnamese cuisine for lunch as you sail back to Tuan Chau.
Return to Hanoi
Check out of the cruise, disembark, and take a speedboat back to Tuan Chau Marina. Finally, board the bus that will take you back to your accommodation in Hanoi.

The tour of Ninh Binh was incredible, really enjoyable activities and very informative. Ninh Binh tour was made even better by our guide Timber. The Ha Long Bay Cruise was exceptional. The hospitality was second to none and the available activities on and off the ship were very fun and engaging!

We absolutely loved this trip! The staff, the cruise, and the bay itself were all incredible. 10/10 worth it.
I did this trip with my friends and we were so amazed by the amount of activities and how good this was organized. We never did a cruise but it was more than worth it. The pictures we took and the things we saw wow! Only thing was that the dinner that was not included was a little much in our eyes. $12 for a few plates, but it was mandatory. Wished we said we wanted to eat somewhere else. Next to that, omg that cruise. It was amazing.
Loved, loved, loved the boat, staff, food, activities….cannot rave enough! The cabin was pristine and huge with a balcony and best shower water pressure in whole of Vietnam! There is also a claw foot tub! Don’t miss this cruise! Happy hour at “Sky Bar” cooking class, cave excursion, swimming etc. Mike was an amazing cruise director, there for everything you may need!! Also want to mention the spa, massage was super! Your loss if you miss out :)
Absolutely fabulous. Everything run on time. Guides were great. Stops were perfectly timed. Would do it all again on another trip.
We enjoyed all the activities of the three day tour. The bike ride, walk and hike up dragon mountain was great. The view at the top was worth the hot and humid climb! The cruise was lovely; we enjoyed the boat ride through the limestone caves and seeing so many monkeys on one of the mountains was a highlight as well. Our room was beautiful and the food delicious. Would definitely recommend:)

We'd scheduled other excursions during our time in Vietnam and this was the best. The coach bus travel to Ninh Binh was comfortable and Ninh Binh itself is lovely! it was a full day of activities. The overnight hotel is so/so, but it was just for a night and the staff was very hospitable. Day 2 was a quick ride to Ha Long Bay and the overnight cruise is fantastic. Ha Long Bay is really quite magical. This is a solid trip to book if you're looking for natural wonder and to get out of the city.
Boat stay was great and transportation a luxury. The hotel after day 1 was not luxury nor was it modern but was sufficient for just a single night.
Amazing views, food was delicious and plentiful, and the staff was incredible. Dong and Candy were helpful and kind every step of the way. Ship was clean and beautiful.
