Hanoï a mille ans et c'est une capitale coloniale française, les deux à la fois : les 36 rues du vieux quartier portant chacune le nom de la corporation qui y travaillait, le lac de l'Épée restituée en son cœur, le temple de la Littérature de 1070, le mausolée où Hô Chi Minh repose exposé (le matin seulement, fermé le lundi et le vendredi et deux mois chaque automne), et le quartier français bordé d'arbres, de villas et de l'Opéra. Les cafés de la rue du Train, où la voie passe à un mètre des tables, ouvrent et ferment au gré des décisions des autorités. Le café à l'œuf y a été inventé en 1946, le bun cha est le déjeuner, et le théâtre de marionnettes sur l'eau, au bord du lac, est la soirée. Hanoï est fraîche et grise de décembre à février et chaude de mai à septembre ; octobre et novembre sont les mois à privilégier.

We had a fantastic tour with Quan around Cao Bang - what a beautiful place! The car journey was long but comfortable in the company car, with water and rest stops provided. The long journey was worth it for the scenery - Angel Eye mountain was spectacular, set in such peaceful surroundings. The cave tour and visit to Ban Gioc waterfalls were also excellent, with Quan providing so much local information and knowledge. We would recommend this tour to anyone and look forward to another trip to Cao Bang in the future, hopefully to spend longer exploring the region 😇

Cao Bang is a very underrated part of Vietnam all the way in the north. During two half days, the guides will ride you around this region to show you the hidden gems that can be found here. Not really knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised by what we saw. Angel's eye mountain and the waterfall are must sees. The homestay was nice and we were treated well the whole trip by our dedicated guides. With the round-trip from Hanoi included, it makes for two long days. But the sightseeing makes it definitely worthwhile.
We had an amazing experience exploring Northern Vietnam! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, from the incredible Angel Eye Mountain to the stunning waterfalls and the beautiful countryside. Every stop was well worth visiting, and the entire tour was perfectly organized. A special thank you to Quan, our fantastic tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing the history, culture, and traditions of Vietnam. His explanations made every place even more interesting. Our driver, Anthony, was excellent. The mountain roads are challenging, but he drove safely and smooth

I had a great experience on this tour! My tour guide (Quan) was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly throughout the trip and gave us lots of interesting information about the places we visited. The itinerary was well organized and we got to see so much in just two days, including Angel Mountain, Nguom Ngao Cave, the pagoda, and of course Ban Gioc Waterfall. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and the activities made the long journey from Hanoi worth it. Our guide made sure I was comfortable and knew what was happening throughout the tour. Quan was supererb, both me wife and I had a great time, it was very relaxing, but they managed to fit plenty of stops in to see things. Many of the locations were dead quiet and felt very well looked after. Food was also brilliant.
