Les trois grands sites de Ninh Binh en une journée depuis Hanoï, avec la promenade en barque que la plupart des programmes ratent.

Trang An est celui sur lequel il faut insister. C'est le complexe classé par l'UNESCO, et le parcours à la rame de deux heures traverse neuf grottes d'eau taillées droit dans le calcaire, certaines assez basses pour que tout le monde baisse la tête. C'est plus calme et plus long que Tam Coc, l'alternative la plus souvent vendue, et les grottes en sont la raison : à Tam Coc il y en a trois, ici neuf. Les rameurs manœuvrent les avirons avec les pieds, une particularité de Ninh Binh que vous ne verrez pas ailleurs.

La grotte de Mua est la montée. Environ 500 marches de pierre jusqu'à un dragon sur la crête, et du sommet la rivière de Trang An serpente dans le karst en dessous de vous. C'est la photographie qui a mis Ninh Binh sur la carte.

Bai Dinh est le plus grand complexe bouddhiste du Vietnam : un couloir de 500 statues d'arhats, un Bouddha de bronze de 36 tonnes, et une échelle qui ne s'impose que lorsqu'on comprend que la marche entre les halls se mesure en kilomètres. Les voiturettes électriques circulent à l'intérieur pour une raison.

Douze heures couvrent les deux heures de route dans chaque sens depuis Hanoï plus les trois sites, sans précipiter aucun d'eux.

Le transfert d'hôtel se fait dans un rayon d'un kilomètre autour de l'Opéra de Hanoï, hors rue Hong Ha : vérifiez donc que votre hôtel y tombe.

We had a great time seeing all the sights we went to. Our guide was so accomodating to us. We had a wonderful time visiting Ninh Binh, Bai Dinh Pagoda and Mua Cave. The beautiful mountain scenery, and peaceful atmosphere made the trip a refreshing escape from the busy city.

This was an amazing day. I have to admit I was on the fence about going because I was exhausted from travel but I am SO glad I did. All of the sites were absolutely incredible and awe inspiring and Kane was the most amazing, knowledgeable, and personable guide, he made the day so expedient, interesting, and fun. Highly recommend, and extreme bargain for the price. Must do for your trip to Hanoi. 100/10!!

An unforgettable day in Ninh Binh! The majestic nature of Trang An is simply breathtaking 😍 This was an amazing and well-organized excursion. Even the rainy weather didn't ruin the day, adding a mystical charm to the mountains. Bai Dinh Pagoda truly impressed me with its grand scale, beautiful architecture, and peaceful atmosphere. But the absolute highlight was Trang An. The entire sightseeing experience was from a boat, allowing us to get up close to this incredible beauty. Floating past stunning pagodas standing right on the water, surrounded by giant karst cliffs, felt like a fairy tale. N

My day trip was so full but so great. Long was the best guide. I was upgraded to a private transfer which I appreciated immensely & as a solo traveller Long took care of me everywhere.
