Trip was brilliant. On time transfers from Hanoi to Tac Coc. Greeted by Johnny who was our tour guide for the day, absolutely brilliant guide and so friendly to the two of us. Jeep is extremely handy getting between the different stops which are quite spread out. Food was also lovely. A hassle free trip, didn’t have to worry about any tickets or anything.

No, a local rower takes you; Trang An's loop is two to three hours in a sampan through caves and you sit the whole way. A small tip for the rower is customary. Bring a hat and sunscreen, the boats are open, and wear shoes you can cycle in for the paddy-field ride between sights.
