Cette expérience d'une journée entière se déroule au départ de Hanoï, construite autour de Bus/autocar, Hoa Lu et Tam Coc. Votre place est retenue auprès de l'opérateur avant que nous considérions votre réservation comme définitive.
Ninh Binh, à deux heures au sud de Hanoï, c'est le même karst calcaire que la baie d'Ha Long, mais planté dans les rizières plutôt que dans la mer, d'où son surnom d'Ha Long terrestre. Trang An est l'ensemble classé à l'UNESCO, parcouru en sampan à la rame sur une boucle de deux à trois heures à travers une enfilade de grottes et de temples, presque sans bruit de moteur ; Tam Coc est la promenade plus ancienne et plus courte le long des champs, à son meilleur fin mai quand le riz est doré. Hoa Lu fut la capitale du Vietnam au Xe siècle et conserve deux temples dynastiques ; la grotte de Mua, ce sont 500 marches jusqu'au belvédère du dragon qui domine toute la vallée ; Bai Dinh est le plus grand complexe bouddhique du pays. Les excursions à la journée depuis Hanoï en couvrent deux ou trois ; les rameuses attendent un pourboire, et le trajet à vélo entre les sites est le meilleur moment de la journée.

Thanks to Liam for an amazing tour! The day trip to Ninh Binh was well organized and Liam did an amazing job on guiding us throughout the whole trip. Highly recommend this day trip tour from Hanoi.
We booked a private tour with a scheduled pick up at the Ninh Binh train station met by our incredible tour guide, Nam who greeted each of us with the gift of a nón lá (conical hat). His strategy was to take us to the Mua Cave where we climbed 500 steps carved out of the jagged limestone to meet the dragon; we beat the crowd before it got more crowded. Goal accomplished! We then transitioned to the Hoa Lu Temple where we heard an interesting historical account about Ninh Binh being the first capital of Vietnam and about how the area traded hands between kingdoms (deception and tactics). It was amazing … loved every part of this tour! The river boat was so relaxing, the scenery in Trang A was breathtaking, the first citadel was fab and Mua Caves was something else ! Excellent guide thank you for a memorable day 🤩 highly recommended 🥰
I would go back and do thos before going to Halong Bay. I was switched on to the multi cave rowing tour because the rice fields are out of season. If the fields were still being cultivated that would have definitely changed the experience. Otherwise the terrain is similar to Halong. The scenery and history is still amazing. Our tour guide and bus driver were also very good. There is of course a tourist trap stop before getting to the first activity, but they made a pretty good breakfast so that can be forgiven.
We had a fabulous tour with our wonderful guide Timber. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. During the bike tour, there was a problem with my dress, but Timber was very attentive and resolved it perfectly. We had a lot of fun on the tour. It was a great balance of activity and relaxation. We highly recommend the tour and especially our guide Timber. An absolute must if you want to see Ninh Binh.

Bobby and Mr Bao were amazing! Bobby was our guide and had extensive knowledge of all the areas and Vietnam to field lots of questions. We went as a couple and ended up with just 4 people in total in our group (we were joined by another lovely couple), we really enjoyed this being a small group so this worked well for us! Notes on the trip - definitely bring cash for the boat tour! It’s important to tip your boat driver, especially as they want you to buy a souvenir during the ride. I would also recommend to tell your guide if you aren’t good with bikes in advance as they can make sure you’re
