We did the half day tour including Vietnam Military History Museum and Temple of Literature. Both locations are stunning and our experience was so enriched by Flora’s expert guidance and unlimited knowledge! Our guide Levy was a wealth of knowledge on the War Museum and Hoa Lo prison. He kept us informed on every aspect of the tour. He was exceptional on the history of Vietnam. The museum in itself was fantastic and very educational. Thoroughly enjoyed the day with Levy as our guide and highly recommend visiting both the War Museum and the Old Prison.
Mike guided us in the Military Museum and Prison tours. He was very good. Informing us of the history of Vietnam and the many conflicts. A good communicator and helped us understand complex history. Excellent.
The new War Museum is a great looking building. The outdoor planes and tanks were cool to see in person. Inside the Museum is huge! Thankfully we had a very knowledgeable tour guide called Mike who was able to sum up about 4000 years of Vietnamese history in 1 hour. It was a very informative walk through and you could tell he was passionate about the subject. We were also celebrities to the school kids! They are from outside of Hanoi so are not used to seeing foreigners, and asked for photos, very cute. We chose to visit the prison as part of this tour after the Museum, and whilst confronting
