Cette expérience de 7 heures se déroule au départ de Hô Chi Minh-Ville, construite autour de Vedette rapide et Tunnels de Cu Chi. Votre place est retenue auprès de l'opérateur avant que nous considérions votre réservation comme définitive.
Les tunnels de Cu Chi, à 60 kilomètres au nord-ouest de Hô Chi Minh-Ville, forment un réseau de 250 kilomètres creusé par le Viêt-cong à partir des années 1940 et utilisé pendant toute la guerre américaine comme logements, hôpitaux, cuisines et voie d'accès jusqu'à Saïgon même ; le district fut bombardé en tapis et défolié sans jamais être réduit. Deux sites se visitent, Ben Dinh (plus proche, plus fréquenté) et Ben Duoc (l'original, plus calme, avec un temple du souvenir) ; tous deux montrent les trappes, les pièges, une section élargie de tunnel que l'on peut parcourir à quatre pattes sur 20 à 100 mètres, et un stand de tir dont les rafales d'AK-47 s'entendent dans tout le site. Les excursions d'une demi-journée partent le matin et l'après-midi, souvent en vedette rapide sur la rivière de Saïgon, et se combinent en général avec le Mékong ou la ville.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we weren’t able to go to the tunnels on the speedboat due to the river being closed off to tourist boats. We were advised of this the night before and Kim travel re-arranged our transportation professionally and with so much kindness. We were picked up in a private vehicle by our driver and guide Nhu. Nhu was very knowledgeable and was a great companion to have during the day. The driver was friendly and showed so much patience especially setting the scene for a relaxing drive both there and back. Nhu is the sweetest lady who took excellent care of us throughout

A ver interesting and informative day with Tranh. The tunnels and artillery sound was confronting, and Tranh was able to explain and answer questions really well. It was wonderful to travel via boat and see the changing river scenery. Highly recommended

It was a great trip, Thanh was a great tour guide and guided us well thru the tunnels area and provided first hand information that is truly unique to the history of the area. The boat road was a great way to enjoy the views and get to the tunnels, would recommend.
