This tour was probably the best I had in Vietnam and potentially during my 5 month travel in Asia . Ryan, our guide was absolutely brilliant. He was so knowledgable on the history of Vietnam and we got an incredible insight into the world of the Emperors. The scenery was beautiful on the Hai Van Pass, and well worth seeing. The citadel and imperial city is so interesting and the tomb of the Emperor were definitely the highlights. The trip is long, so be prepared for a lot of driving- but I would highly recommend it- I learned more about Vietnam in one day than I had the entire trip!
I have a wonderful guide, Ryan Pham. He's knowledgeable in Vietnamese history and I really learnt a lot.
The visit is amazing, and Sherlock is the best guide you could have. He will explain you everything thoroughly and take you many, many photos. The only suggestion to the company would be to partner with another restaurant, the one we went to had pretty average food that lacked the amazing vietnamese flavors.
well planned guided tour. Guide was very understanding, knowledgeable and well versed in English. He made sure we were as comfortable as possible in the unbearable heat. He was constantly giving us information about the rich imperial history. No complaints. Highly recommended.
Our guide Thien Pham picked us up at our hotel in Hoi An absolutely on time. The journey to Hué took us over the Hai Van Pass, from where we were able to enjoy a fantastic view. We liked the city tour through the old royal city of Hué very much. We were especially impressed by our guide Thien, his friendly manner and his extensive knowledge. He did a really great job!

Excellent day. Very knowledgeable tour guide, Ryan, who gave special care and attention to, helping me to negotiate steps. We learned so much about Nguyen dynasty. Lunch was delicious. The only downside was the bus. The air conditioner dripped on me through the whole trip and the suspension seemed so bad, we were flung around in the back seat, hitting our heads on the roof when we went over bumps.
It was a great trip. We enjoyed all the sites that we stopped to see. Ryan was very respectful to all of us and took good care of us. He gave us a wealth of information. Highly recommend him. Also, the driver was very smooth and safe.
Xi our guide was excellent, good knowledge of the history and told this in an amusing way which made the trip lots of fun.
