Cette expérience de 2,5 heures se déroule à Hoi An, construite autour de Vieille ville de Hoi An, Pont couvert japonais et Statue commémorative de Kazimierz Kwiatkowski. Votre place est retenue auprès de l'opérateur avant que nous considérions votre réservation comme définitive.
Hoi An est un port de commerce que le fleuve Thu Bon a ensablé au XIXe siècle, et c'est pour cela que sa vieille ville de maisons-boutiques chinoises, de maisons de congrégation, de pont couvert japonais et de demeures de marchands aux murs ocre est parvenue intacte jusqu'à son classement à l'UNESCO en 1999. La vieille ville est fermée aux deux-roues une bonne partie de la journée, éclairée de lanternes de soie le soir, et la plus fréquentée lors de la fête des lanternes de pleine lune, chaque mois lunaire. Autour : le village maraîcher de Tra Que, les canaux de cocotiers d'eau de Cam Thanh et leurs barques rondes en vannerie, le village de potiers de Thanh Ha, la plage d'An Bang et, à 40 kilomètres dans les terres, les ruines cham de My Son, à voir à 7 h avant les autocars. La ville est aussi la capitale vietnamienne de la couture sur mesure ; un costume demande 24 heures.

Khieu/Q was an exceptional guide. She began by asking us what we would like to learn about Hoi an and our general interests so she could guide us the tour and tailor it to our needs. We learnt about the history of the city and how it had changed over the years, some local culture and how different cultures have come together to create Hoi An. Khieu was amazing and open and friendly as well as knowledgeable. This feels like a Hoi An must do!

I’m so glad I booked this tour. I had already spent a few days walking around Hoi An Ancient Town, but I realised during the tour how much I had been walking past without really understanding what I was seeing. Kun was a fantastic guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and explained everything in a really interesting and accessible way. We visited the Japanese Covered Bridge, traditional merchant houses and Chinese assembly halls, and I particularly loved learning about the history of the town and how the annual flooding has shaped the buildings and everyday life in Hoi An. We had an absolutely fabulous afternoon tour with Nhat around the old town. He is a fountain of knowledge, willing to answer all our questions. He gave us a clear idea of the layered history and culture of the old town, with small anecdotes you wouldn’t find online. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a tour!
This was so much fun! We went to the market and visited multiple vendors to get our ingredients. Our instructor, Yanni helped me identify all the fruits and veggies I was unfamiliar with. We started the class with the coffee as a pick me up & enjoyed the feast at the end. We left with a recipe book, so don’t feel you need to write EVERYTHING down. Highly recommend!
