Cette expérience de 2 jours se déroule à Sapa. Votre place est retenue auprès de l'opérateur avant que nous considérions votre réservation comme définitive.

Sa Pa se trouve à 1 600 mètres d'altitude dans les monts Hoang Lien, près de la frontière chinoise : une station d'altitude française des années 1920 devenue la base des treks à travers les vallées en terrasses des villages hmong, dao et giay. La marche classique descend de la ville par Cat Cat ou Y Linh Ho jusqu'à Lao Chai et Ta Van, le long de la vallée de Muong Hoa, cinq à six heures, avec déjeuner chez l'habitant et, pour la version en deux jours, une nuit en homestay ; ce sont des femmes hmong du coin qui guident la plupart des treks, et les sentiers sont boueux après la pluie. Le Fansipan, plus haut sommet d'Indochine à 3 143 mètres, se rejoint en 15 minutes de téléphérique ou en deux jours d'ascension. Les terrasses sont inondées et miroitantes en mai et juin, dorées en septembre ; de décembre à février il fait froid, souvent brumeux, et il neige parfois. Le marché du dimanche de Bac Ha, à deux heures de là, est le grand marché des Hmong fleuris.

This tour was our favourite activity during our time in Vietnam. We absolutely loved trekking around Sapa, the homestay was great and the lunches and dinner were very tasty. Lan, our tour guide, was just a joy, she helped us understand about the Hmong culture and she really made this experience worthwhile. Thank you Lan! Totally recommend this tour.

Well organized trek with amazing scenery. Our guide, Lan, was amazing! Answered all our questions and always made sure everyone was doing all right. She adapted to the needs of the group and offered a glimpse of her culture. Homestay was very nice as well.

I had a superb time on the two day trek. the guide was exceptional - really friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and good at helping us traverse the terrain (along with a wonderful group of local women for the first bit of the first day). The meals were excellent and the homestay was a great experience, and insight into the lives of the locals.

Myself and my boyfriend completed the two day, one night trek in Nov 2024 with a small group, and our incredible guide Suli! Suli was amazing- she is local to the villages, and taught herself English years ago from speaking to tourists. Her English was brilliant, as was her sense of humour! She took us on exciting routes (which we all loved) and taught us lots about local culture and history. She answered our thousands of questions, and got us some good local discounts too! It was raining in the morning and I contemplated to join the tour as I think it might be dangerous and muddy. BUT the organiser was very encouraging and persuading me to join as it is going to be beautiful. & Im glad I did as the whole experience is amazing, the trek is muddy but there will be locals holding/guiding you and that’s the thrill of it, the homestay made me feel very warmth and homely with the authentic vietnamese home-cook dinner, the guide (Lang) speaks good english and she is very friendly and patiently explains the different ethnic cultures. The activity was awesome and our guide “Mme Nhu” was just amazing and really kind. I recommend 100%. Only one unpleasant thing with the last transfer back to Sapa. We had to wait for another group during 40 minutes in a van and we almost missed our bus to Hanoi.

The price does not cover drinks, vat and tips and 30 usd per person surcharge for lunar new year (from january 26 - february 2, 2025, due at the meeting point). Everything it does cover is listed in full on this page, so if something is not on that list, budget for it separately.
Most day treks are 10 to 15 km on village paths, steep and muddy after rain, done in trainers or light boots. Local Hmong or Dao women guide and set an easy pace. Bring a rain jacket, a warm layer from November to March, cash for the villages, and a small bag; homestays provide mattresses, blankets and dinner. Leave the big luggage at your hotel in town.
We confirm your booking with the operator before we treat it as final, and we need at least one day's notice. Once it is confirmed you get the meeting point, the time and a contact number for the day. If the operator cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.
