Trois attractions au-dessus de la vallée de Muong Hoa en un après-midi, toutes tournées vers les rizières en terrasses.

Le parapente depuis Sapa est celle dont on se souvient. Vous décollez d'une crête au-dessus de la vallée et volez en biplace au-dessus de champs en terrasses qui grimpent les flancs par paliers, avec le Fansipan, la plus haute montagne d'Indochine, sur la ligne d'horizon. Les terrasses changent complètement au cours de l'année : inondées et reflétant le ciel vers mai et juin, d'un vert profond tout l'été, dorées juste avant la récolte de septembre.

La luge sur rails est un traîneau à gravité qui traverse la forêt du flanc de colline, et vous contrôlez votre propre frein : c'est donc aussi rapide ou aussi doux que vous le voulez. Le toboggan arc-en-ciel est le court et le rigolo, et c'est la raison pour laquelle cela marche avec des adolescents qui autrement ne monteraient pas dans un vol en parapente.

Le village de Cat Cat est posé dans la vallée en dessous, un hameau hmong à une courte descente de la ville de Sapa, avec une cascade en bas.

Le transport privé et la prise en charge à l'hôtel font que les trois activités s'enchaînent au lieu d'avoir des attentes entre elles, et c'est ce qui les fait tenir en quatre heures.

Le parapente dépend de l'air. Le vent et les nuages bas clouent les vols au sol, et Sapa est assez haut pour que la météo tourne vite : le vol est donc déplacé plutôt que décoller dans de mauvaises conditions.
