Sapa : 2 jours chez les communautés des montagnes, en train de nuit

loved the hiking through the mountains and seeing the villages. Our guide was very interesting, spoke a lot about life as a member of the hill tribe community, good and bad things, e.g. no hot showers!

This was a 1:1 private tour and both of my guides Hien & Trang were amazing! They were lovely, friendly, knowledgeable, and great conversationalist. Trekking took around 3 hours, including a lunch stop. There were a few intense moments of trekking going uphill, but it was worth the views. You won’t find this trail by yourself, but with a local tour guide, they will show you some pretty cool spots! I’d recommend this tour.

Everything went very well. We enjoyed our trip a lot. The hotel has been perfectly chosen, everybody has been friendly and service-oriented. Also our guide “Sissy” has been bery good in explaining things, seeing our wishes- a very nice and smart person. We spent two amazing days in Sa Pa. For us it is a must see when you are travelling through Vietnam! The landscape is just incredible. An our guide Chan made the experience even better! She is so nice and funny and told us so much about Vietnam and especially about the minorities in northern Vietnam. Do not miss this experience!

Great experience. Loved our guides who were charismatic, knowledgeable and accomodating of all the groups’ needs. The walk down to the rice fields and into the villages of the local people was incredibly beautiful. I highly recommend. The accomodation was also very comfortable with great food.

I was a little worried in the beginning because I had never done an organized trip like this, but it turned out really good. All the people implicated are truly sincronized. The best thing of the trip was our guide Chang, she is a true professional and did an awesome job, we really enjoyed her explanations and company.

This tour is a highlight of our honeymoon. Highly appreciate prompt communication and flexibility (allowed us to go back by car instead of train, which we found too bumpy and noisy) of the tour agency. Our local tour guide Trang was amazing! We felt safe and well taken care of. Sapa is an absolute gem, so incredibly beautiful and unique. We learned so much and enjoyed hiking through rice fields, away from the tourist crowd.

I went with Charming Travel, based in Hanoi. Everything from before we embarked on the tour till the end was very efficient. I communicated with the tour agency by What’s App and the response was very fast. Tour price was a steal as it included the guides, a night’s accommodation, all meals over the 2 whole days and the return train fare/bus transfer from Hanoi-Lao Chi-Sapa. It was an experience going on the overnight train which was very comfortable and where I managed to get some sleep. Hotel was great and the free meals came with so much food that we couldn’t finish the food each time.

I really enjoyed this tour. Everything was well organized. My boyfriend and I stayed at the "Legend Hotel" in Sapa. All meals were included and it was delicious (except for the lunch of the 2nd day of the trek - that lunch was just okay... nothing compared to what the hotel gives you) ! The staff there was very friendly and they helped us when we needed them without hesitating. We didn't get to see the beautiful sapa on a sunny day because it was rainy both days when we were there. It is a tour I recommend although it was a bit pricey. If you can book when you arrive in Hanoi at local agencies

We did a 1 night 2 day trek with the Charming Travel, who were amazing at every stage from booking the overnight sleeper train for us to welcoming us in Sapa and making our trek a memorable one. Our tour guide was Suu and she was a great guide, spoke excellent English and was very accommodating of whether we wanted a more or less strenuous route, whilst being chatty, funny and informative along the way. We stopped for lunch at her home and met her family, who were lovely. We were dropped off at the homestay where Suu also ate with us before picking us up again in the morning and continuing our

The rice field terraces, the beautiful and friendly people with their traditional clothes, seeing how they live and work, being saddened by the poverty while charmed by their smiles. There are so many aspects here which are not justified by words. You have to experience it yourself. Spend as much time in the Sa Pa area as you can…
