Full description
This is a 30-minute experience from Canggu, built around Seminyak. It is run by Bali Rahayu Travel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Horse riding on Bali happens on the black-sand beaches of Gianyar, at Saba and Keramas, half an hour south-east of Ubud, and at Sanur and Seminyak in the south. Rides run 60 to 90 minutes at a walk and trot along the sand and through the coconut groves behind it, on small, quiet Indonesian horses, with a guide leading beginners on a lead rope; helmets are provided and long trousers are sensible. Early morning and the last hour before sunset are the times to ride, for the light and because the sand is too hot underfoot in the middle of the day.
The price covers 30-minute or 1-hour ride, guide and Helmet provided. It does not cover Food, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

It was amazing, the guide was so friendly took some amazing pictures and really taught me about the horse! We went into the sea slightly and the horse was so well behaved and friendly, an amazing experience would 100% do again!

I love riding so this was a great chance to go for a beach walk on a horse . Good pricing , I suggest you advise if you are a beginner or intermediate or experienced rider at the start so they staff can give you an appropriate horse to ride. long pants make it moree comfortable and an an early time 7.30 or 8 am to beat the heat Bonba was a good g. Nalah was a bit stubborn wanting to return home as we passed her exit point but Bomba put her on the lead rope to ensure she still continued. I don't blame her , it was getting hot . good option for an activity at Legian uide

It was rather expensive ($122 CDN) for a 30 minute ride for two people.
My girlfriend did the horse riding on the beach as she loves horses and it was amazing she really loved it. The guide was brilliant and hilarious and took amazing photos. The only thing I would recommend is booking the 30 min slot as we paid for an hour but she only got 40 mins as there was another booking after us.
we were not allowed to participate because of weight limits we were not informed about (we are average weight). as a horse person for many years i can say the horses are not well kept, looked as though they needed vet attention and were too small to be carrying an adult human of any size. they were living in dirty conditions. do not recommend.
Es geht nicht, wie beschrieben durch Reisfelder usw. Man reitet lediglich ein Stück am Strand entlang. Hätte ich das vorher gewusst, hätte ich das nicht gebucht. Dafür war es dann einfach zu teuer. Gebucht hatten wir für 15 Uhr, eintragen haben sie uns für 16 Uhr. Somit hatten wir noch eine Stunde Zeit verloren.

Terrible conditions for a horse. Massively overpriced for what you are getting. No rice fields and a walk to the beach through rubbish and construction. Do not do.
