Full description
This is a 7-hour experience from Canggu, built around Ubud Traditional Art Market, Cretya Ubud and Kanto Lampo Waterfall. It is run by Trip Gotik - Bali Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The waterfalls around Ubud sit in a band to the east and south of the town, mostly within an hour's drive. Tegenungan is the closest and the busiest, with a broad fall and a pool at the bottom. Tibumana and Kanto Lampo, both in Bangli, are smaller and better for getting in the water: Tibumana drops in a single curtain into a clear pool, and at Kanto Lampo the water fans across a stepped rock face that people climb onto for photographs. All of them involve steps down and back up, and the rocks are slippery, so proper sandals or shoes that can get wet are the right footwear. The wet season, November to March, brings the fullest flow but also brown water for a day or two after heavy rain.
Pickup is offered from Kuta, Nusa Dua Beach, Ubud, Seminyak, Bali and Jimbaran; the exact spot and time are agreed with Trip Gotik - Bali Tours once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.
The price covers local guide, Hotel pickup and drop-off, Air-conditioned vehicle, Mineral water and Entrance fees. It does not cover Lunch, Personal expenses and Tip, so budget for those separately. Amazing! We had Jack as our guide and he was great. A very kind and helpful guide. We highly recommend this tour (and Jack as the guide!). The cretya club is very beautiful and we got some amazing pictures at the waterfalls. The temple and markets were also very pretty and worth visiting. This tour has a great value for money. Jack’s vehicle was air conditioned and we were provided with bottled water. He knew the best ways to avoid traffic and informed us lots about Balinese culture which we loved! Thank you very much Jack and we highly recommend.
First of all, I would like to say a huge thank you to my amazing driver and guide Gede Rai. He was so kind and funny and made this tour one of the best. We went to all the places on the tour, he also took me to a great restaurant and we even went to see a place where they grow artisanal coffee. An unforgettable experience, I would recommend it to everyone.
