This is a 5-hour experience in Canggu. It is run by Trip Gotik - Bali Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Balinese Hinduism is a religion of daily practice: the small palm-leaf offerings, canang sari, are set out each morning at doorways, shrines and dashboards, and a village temple has festivals on its own calendar, so there is a ceremony somewhere on the island every day. Visitors enter temples in a sarong and sash, provided at the gate, and stay out of the inner courtyards during prayer. Nyepi, the day of silence in March, closes the whole island for 24 hours, including the airport and the roads, and tours do not run that day. Balian, the traditional healers, and palm readers still practise in the villages around Ubud, and a reading is a conversation with an interpreter rather than a performance.

Dayu and the driver were really nice! I was tired and she was so patient with me and explained to me a bunch of cultural/traditional Balinese stuff. The museums were beautiful to see and Dayu took some great pictures of me :) the local food place we went to was really yummy!!
We had an amazing day with Widi! He is so kind, knowledgeable, and made sure we saw not just the beautiful sights, but also the real everyday life in Bali. He took us to several temples, the local market, and even arranged a lovely massage for us. Everything was so well thought out, and we are so thankful to Widi and grateful we got to meet him. The guide was very knowledgeable and helped me understand many things and answered all my questions. He was also very pleasant and when I was talking to him, it felt like we were old friends. Sagita was a fantastic tour guide. Her smile and positive outlook made the day fly by. I appreciated her stories about her life and Bali culture. I booked on the same day and her communication was excellent as she worked with me and my schedule. She informed me this tour is not often requested, and the stops could use updating. I'd probably request to skip the museum. (The descriptions are short, and the exhibits haven't been updated in a while.) Guide arrived on time for the pick-up and took us around, following the programme very well. Gusde, the guide, was very informative and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend him. The restaurant he took us to was a good example of Balinese food and the monument had a good historical display.
tour guide wss amazing, there was only us and him so got to do everything we wanted. he took his time showing us around and explaining the culture that surrounds bali. any questions we had he answered. we were taken to a traditional place to try some food and then somewhere for a traditional lunch which was all included. brilliant day and made us feel very relaxed and welcome in bali
