This is a 5.5-hour experience from Canggu, built around Mertasari Beach, Turtle Conservation And Education Center and Bajra Sandhi Monument. It is run by Trip Gotik - Bali Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The animal parks near Ubud are in Gianyar: Bali Zoo at Singapadu, Bali Safari and Marine Park on the coast road east, and the Mason Elephant Park at Taro, which keeps a herd of Sumatran elephants rescued from logging camps. Bali Bird Park at Batubulan holds around a thousand birds, including a large collection of Indonesian species and birds of paradise, in walk-through aviaries. Turtle conservation sits on the south coast at Serangan and Kuta. All are open daily, most from 9:00, and the safari park's tram circuits and animal shows run to a timetable, so check times if there is one you want.

Enjoyable and informative
We hebben een geweldige dag gehad. Met dank aan onze gids Gus. De beach hebben we overgeslagen omdat deze vlak bij ons hotel was. In plaats daarvan heeft Gus ons meer van Sanur laten zien. Zijn kennis van de geschiedenis van Bali was indrukwekkend. En hij heeft ons verteld hoe het hindoeïsme in elkaar zit. Ook waren we onder de indruk van het schildpaddenreservaat. Ze doen daar goed werk. Een echte aanrader is deze excursie ren zeker met Gus als gids.
I had a lovely day exploring with Joe, who was incredibly generous in sharing his vast knowledge of Balinese history and culture. the turtle centre is doing incredible work, and it's a good place to get some fixed-price souvenirs for those who don't like bartering. Lunch was also delicious, and I tried many tasty traditional sweets.
Die Schildkrötenrettungsstation war super interessant. Die kleinen Babyschildkröten waren richtig süß. Der Strand Besuch war nicht so schön. Es liegt sehr viel Müll herum. Das Monument wiederum war schön und auch da authentische Mittagessen war toll.
