Trunyan Cemetery, Hot Springs, and Penglipuran Village in Canggu

Great tour with unique experiences! Trunyan Cemetery was fascinating — especially if you’re interested in Balinese/Hindu traditions. Mount Batur Hot Springs was the highlight for us; we could’ve stayed much longer. Tibumana Waterfall was beautiful and definitely photo‑worthy. We ran out of time for Penglipuran Village, but our driver was amazing and explained the Trunyan burial process really well. The only downside was the long travel time from Legian. If you’re staying in Kuta/Legian, leave before 7am to make the most of the day.

Amazing experience. My tour with Putu was great. We went to the Trunyan cemetery, stopped by the hot spring, had a great buffet-style lunch with a scenic view of the mountains, Penglipuran village, the bamboo forest and the Goa Raja waterfall. He was very knowledgeable and easy and fun to talk to. Great adventure as a solo traveler.

Had a wonderful and fascinating day thanks to Moolie. I ended up being the only person on the tour today, and Moolie went out of his way to explain the history and traditions of the village and cemetery and made sure I had a great trip. The cemetery was particularly interesting to see this unique practice. Advise sensible shoes as footing can be uneven getting to and from the cemetery.

Ein Highlight für uns waren die Hot Springs. Bei dem Friedhof müssen wir unsere westlichen Bewertungen über Bord kippen, denn alle Opfergaben verbleiben auch dort. Das Penglipuran Villige ist sehr schön anzuschauen, was uns stört waren die Verkaufsstände in fast jedem Haus. Sehr ansprechend war der Bambuswald direkt daneben (Extra Eintritt). Da wir die Tour von Kuta aus gestartet haben, war der Tag sehr sehr lang. Empfehlung: wer in Ubud wohnt, von dort aus beginnen, sonst verbringt man zu viele Stunden im Auto.

Onze gids van vandaag Putu kan zeer goed Engels, ook is hij een heel voorzichtige chauffeur, gaf interessante antwoorden op al onze vragen, we hebben heel veel bijgeleerd, onze laatste uitstap was meer dan geslaagd mede dankzij Putu. Waarvoor onze dank.

Eccellente. Praticamente un tour privato solo per noi, Putu, la guida che ci ha portato in giro nella parte nord-est di Ubud (inusuale e poco famosa) é stato senza dubbio la migliore guida abbiamo mai avuto qui, Discreto ed empatico, con grande cultura e sense of humour, siamo stati accompagnati come da un amico, sempre rispettoso ha adattato il tour al nostro “mood” per nulla Instagram style e ci ha portati a delle cascate meno conosciute ed incredibili, le Goa…molto meno battute di quelle indicate nel tour, apprezzatissime!!! Se proprio devo trovare qualcosa da migliorare, sostituirei la vis
