Full description
This is a 7-hour experience from Ubud, built around Batuan Temple, Tegallalang Rice Terrace and Local restaurant. It is run by Bali Charm, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
A private day around Ubud runs eight to ten hours with a driver-guide and a car, and the route is yours to set. The usual pieces are Tegallalang or Jatiluwih for terraces, one or two waterfalls in Bangli, Tirta Empul for the water temple, the Monkey Forest or the craft villages, and a swing or a coffee plantation stop, with the order set by the light and the queues: terraces and swings first, temples midday, waterfalls when it is hot. Entry fees are usually paid as you go unless the option says all-inclusive. Ubud to the furthest of these is under an hour, but the roads are slow after 9:00, so five or six stops is a realistic day and eight is a rush.
Pickup is offered from Sanur, Nusa dua, Jimbaran, Seminyak, Kuta and Port of Benoa; the exact spot and time are agreed with Bali Charm once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.
The price covers All entrance fees for the sites visited, Lunch, Air-conditioned car, Fuel and Sarong for entering the temple. It does not cover Other personal expenses, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Bali Charm sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Bali Charm before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

I had a wonderful day with Konwag, good humor, great company lots of information about Bali...attentive to my comfort and safely
We met Jose at the port, on time and at the place as explained. Introductions and our requisites completed, we set off to our 1st venue with Jose explaining the culture and way of life in Bali. Jose took us to 5 interesting venues, guiding us around each one with informative chats, taking photographs on our behalf. At one of the venues we stopped for lunch, this was an all inclusive tour with tickets venue tickets and food provided. Summing up, Jose is an excellent guide, the tour was brilliant and interesting, thoroughly recommended.
We had a great day in Bali! Jon our guide reached out to be a few times before our arrival, and was at the dock waiting for us. He was very polite, friendly & knowledgeable. Jon also very good at letting us know how much time we had at each stop to make sure we arrived back at the ship with time to spare!
We loved our tour with tour guide Jon. His English is excellent, and he made our day special. He really listened to what we wanted and made it happen! I highly recommend this company and ask for Jon. So far, it was the highlight of our 4-month cruise!!!
Wayan provided a thorough tour of the area near the Benoa port of Bali, exposing me to multiple areas while narrating a very interesting explanation of the Balinese culture. His willingness to meet my personal interests while intermingled both Indonesian and local perspectives, including a temple where I had greater access than the ship excursion, enriched my experience, making this tour invaluable.
Wayan was a great guide. Humerous and full of enthusiasm for Bali. He was very informative and his good english made for an enjoyable and memorable tour. In one word: WONDERFUL!!! Our guide Komang was friendly, knowledgeable, considerate. He drove us safely to the specified stops and made sure to get us back to the ship as promised 1 hour before 'all aboard.' Komang met us at the terminal on time and shared with us the agenda for the day: temple, coffee plantation, rice paddies, waterfall, and quick visit to a beach. Coffee at the plantation and lunch above the rice paddies were both delicious. Komang served as our photographer as well eliciting smiles in all photos. Despite the torrential rain, we had a wonderful day in Bali. Our guide Jose was excellent. He was friendly, helpful, polite, informative and went the extra mile to ensure that we had a lovely time in Bali. I would strongly recommend Jose.
Our guide was excellent and adapted the schedule because of a downpour in the morning. scenery was beautiful and he provided interesting information on each site. Also, lunch overlooking the rice terrace was wonderful. Highly recommend!
