Full description
This is a 2-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by AMED SAILING, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Snorkelling off Nusa Penida is about the reef manta rays at Manta Point on the island's south coast, where they are present year-round, feeding and being cleaned in the swell at the base of the cliffs. Boats then move to calmer spots such as Crystal Bay, Gamat Bay and the wall at Buyuk for coral and fish. Between July and October, Crystal Bay is also the place divers come for the oceanic sunfish, mola mola, which rise from deep water in the cooler months. Manta Point is exposed to southern swell and boats skip it when the sea is up, so a day here is always weather-dependent. The crossing from Sanur is thirty to forty-five minutes.

We had a wonderful sunset snorkeling trip with Jil. He showed us the beautiful snorkelling spots . We were lucky to be able to swim with turtles at all three spots 🐢 and we could swim with colorful schools of fish. We ended up the tour with the stunning view of Mt Agung while we were watchong the sunset on the sea. Thanks Jil, you were a fantastic guide!
Great experience! We went as a group of six for my mum’s birthday. Agus and his team were so lovely, and made sure we saw some turtles! The equipment was great - the snorkels had fabric backs rather than plastic ones so they didn’t rip my hair out. As a woman with long hair this was such a bonus. Highly recommend.
Today we had a wonderful snorkeling experience with Jil Amed. As soon as I made the reservation the day before, Jil contacted me and sent a location link for the meeting point. He also advised me on the best time for the activity. Even though we were more than half an hour late, Jil waited for us patiently. The boat experience was great, and the children were truly amazed by the corals. Although I cannot swim, Jil guided me in the water and made me feel completely safe — both for the children, whom he constantly watched over, and for me, as someone who cannot swim at all. Exactly what we were hoping for. A chill time visiting the three key snorkelling spots by traditional Jukung. Great if you're already in the Amed area and just want to be taken to the right places with some lovely guides.

i was only out for 1 hr and didnt go to any of the places mentioned, i asked for a refund but havent heard back. very disappointing experience i couldve walked to the beach wnd hired a snorkel it wouldve been better

Very fun! A must to do in Bali
Snorkeling agréable en bord de plage et sur les spots de coraux. Ces spots sont d’ailleurs tous accessibles de la plage si vous voulez éviter le bateau. Possible aussi de réserver directement sur place avec un meilleur prix
les 3 spots de snorkeling sont en bord de plages et ne présentent pas grand intérêt. Peu de poissons, des nurseries pour coraux (pour remplacer tous ceux qui sont morts), une épave. par contre la sortie en mer qui a suivi était cool.
