Full description
This is a 2-hour experience in Ubud, built around Ubud, Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary and Jungle swing. It is run by Asta Sedana Bali Wisata, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The Sacred Monkey Forest in Padangtegal, on the southern edge of Ubud town, is around 12 hectares of forest holding roughly a thousand long-tailed macaques and three temples that date from the fourteenth century. The monkeys are wild and used to people, which is a combination that costs visitors sunglasses, water bottles and anything edible every day; the rule is to carry nothing loose, to avoid eye contact with a monkey that is staring at you, and never to touch one. The forest opens at 9:00 and the last hour before closing is the quietest. The temples inside are working temples and are entered only by worshippers.
The price covers AC private car, driver or guide, ATV guide, Jungle Swing at Tegalalang and Lunch. It does not cover Personal expenses, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Had an amazing day with our tour guide Jerry. He was so accommodating and was always prepared to take pictures for us at the best spots. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is interested in seeing the rice fields and taking pictures on the swing, coffee tasting and quad biking. Great experience.
