ATV Ride, Ayung River Rafting, and Rice Terrace Swing in Ubud

This is a 1-hour experience from Ubud, built around Bali Skutis Adventure. It is run by CV Bali Experience Activities, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

The Tegallalang terraces are twenty minutes north of Ubud on the road to Kintamani, and they are working paddies fed by the subak irrigation system that UNESCO listed in 2012. Before about 8:30 in the morning the valley belongs to the farmers, the paddies are still wet from the night, and it is cool enough to walk down through the terraces and up the far side. By ten the coaches from the south arrive and the road above the terraces becomes a line of cafes, swings and photo platforms. There is a small entry fee at the viewpoint, and farmers along the paths through the fields ask for a few thousand rupiah to cross their land, which is normal. The swings are separate businesses with their own prices.

The price covers Certified ATV guide, ATV ride, Ayung River rafting, Rice Terrace Swing and Safety briefing before the ride. It does not cover Personal expenses, so budget for those separately. CV Bali Experience Activities sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with CV Bali Experience Activities before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.
