Full description
This is a 8-hour experience from Ubud, built around Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, Ayung Dewata Rafting and Alasan Adventures - ATV. It is run by Hire Bali Driver, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The Sacred Monkey Forest in Padangtegal, on the southern edge of Ubud town, is around 12 hectares of forest holding roughly a thousand long-tailed macaques and three temples that date from the fourteenth century. The monkeys are wild and used to people, which is a combination that costs visitors sunglasses, water bottles and anything edible every day; the rule is to carry nothing loose, to avoid eye contact with a monkey that is staring at you, and never to touch one. The forest opens at 9:00 and the last hour before closing is the quietest. The temples inside are working temples and are entered only by worshippers.
Pickup is offered from Ubud and Bali; the exact spot and time are agreed with Hire Bali Driver once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.
The price covers Hotel pickup and drop-off, ATV activity, White water rafting activity, Entry fee to Ubud Monkey Forest and Lunch. It does not cover Alcoholic drinks and Souvenir photo, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Amazing day. A tiring one, but so awesome. We had extra time in the morning so I got to have breakfast at a cafe, did the monkey forest, river rafting, and then ATV. ATVs hands down the best.
Our driver was Mr. Yaneka and he was absolutely amazing! We had an incredible time with him. He shared so much about Balinese culture with genuine passion and took the time to answer all of our questions. Every activity was well organized, fun, and memorable, making the whole day an unforgettable experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bali!
Wayan was our driver! He gives us a wonderful time! The diner in the party beach pool was also amazing and a present for us!
Amazing day out! Worth the early morning for sure. Our driver Komang Pi went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable at each destination and really put the effort in, such a lovely family man with a contagious smile. Rafting was so much fun the guides were always bantering and keeping the vibe uplifted and humerous. The monkey forest we went to wasn’t in Ubud and the monkeys were so nice there, very smelly but not aggressive. A change of clothes is definitely needed because that atv activity is a muddy one, so much fun. It’s a must do when in Bali!

Our guide/driver Wahko was absolutely amazing, he had great knowledge and experience. He kept the conversations going in the car and there wasn’t a single moment where we felt bored. Coffee plantation wasn’t even an activity on the itinerary, yet he still took us there as we got to Ubud earlier than planned. And after each activity he would greet us with a lovely smile and ensure we had a good time. I would 100% recommend Wahko for anyone looking for a thrilling and unforgettable experience.
Literally the best part of our trip. This was such an amazing and adventure packed day with good meals as well!!! Highly recommend!!
Today was a great day! We had an amazing experience, participating in the ATV/monkey forest and rafting activity with transfer included by Ardana who picked us up at 8am and chauffeured us to all three activities. He was really lovely to us, had our experience as top priority and making sure we were safe by coming with us into the monkey forest. He was able to maintain great conversation with us and had an awesome sense of humour. Really easy to chat and have a joke with. Thanks for a great day!!!
the only negative was the pick up area could be improved we had to get a taxi away from our hotel
We had the best day ever and enjoyed every second of it... We started the day at the Monkey Forest, as we had some time before the next activity, our driver Gusde took us to the Sarria coffee plantation and we had a coffee and tea tasting that were an amazing surprise, really tasty! after that we headed to Alasan Adventure for the ATV that was incredible, so much fun... We had lunch at the Cretya Sunset and the food was delicious. Then, it was time for the Water Rafting and again, it was so much fun and the best way to finish the day! ATV was great fun although I have to say it’s not for beginners and those who lack common sense. The ATV was quite scary, I think more training should be provided before hand, but having said that our guide who was leading the group on the bikes was always making sure that we were keeping up and he would help when it was needed. Monkey Forest was great, the driver came with us, it didn’t take too long, you are told not to make eye contact with the monkeys and keep your belongings close to you, as these monkeys are wild to an extent. Now the Rafting again it was quite scary and we weren’t told
The rafting was unbelievable, absolutely amazing and the ATV was great too. We were sometimes in a group with slower people and that was annoying but it got sorted and it was fun. I wouldn't recommend doing it with the monkeys as that felt a bit rushed but our great driver Desna helped us through and gave us lots of great information and was very helpful the entire time!
