Full description
This is a 10-hour experience in Ubud, built around Batuan, Tegenungan Waterfall and Tegallalang Rice Terrace. It is run by DIEGO CONDUCTOR BALI, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
A Balinese village day is about the compound and the rice cycle. A family compound is a walled group of pavilions around a household temple, laid out to a fixed pattern with the shrine to the mountain side; the kitchen and the rice barn have their own places in it. Around it the paddies run on the subak calendar, planting, flooding, harvesting and drying on the road, and the fields are worked by hand and by hand tractor. Mornings start early: the market at dawn, the offerings, breakfast of rice and coffee. Visits like this are hosted by the family, and a few words of Indonesian, a sarong for the temple and shoes off at the door are the courtesies that matter.
Pickup is offered from Legian, Sanur, Jimbaran, Canggu, Nusa dua and Kerobokan; the exact spot and time are agreed with DIEGO CONDUCTOR BALI once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.
The price covers Pickup and Return Transfer to Your Hotel, Balinese local driver, Parking fees, Gasoline/fuel and Mineral water per passenger. It does not cover Admission Ticket, Lunch or meals and Personal expenses, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Hotel pickup in Ubud. DIEGO CONDUCTOR BALI confirms your pickup time and the exact spot once the booking is in. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with DIEGO CONDUCTOR BALI before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.
