Full description
This is a 10-hour experience from Ubud, built around Ulun Danu Bratan Temple, Sekumpul Waterfall and Banyumala Waterfalls. It is run by Bali Exploring Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The waterfalls around Ubud sit in a band to the east and south of the town, mostly within an hour's drive. Tegenungan is the closest and the busiest, with a broad fall and a pool at the bottom. Tibumana and Kanto Lampo, both in Bangli, are smaller and better for getting in the water: Tibumana drops in a single curtain into a clear pool, and at Kanto Lampo the water fans across a stepped rock face that people climb onto for photographs. All of them involve steps down and back up, and the rocks are slippery, so proper sandals or shoes that can get wet are the right footwear. The wet season, November to March, brings the fullest flow but also brown water for a day or two after heavy rain.
Pickup is offered from Kuta Selatan, Seminyak, Denpasar, Legian, Ubud and Sanur; the exact spot and time are agreed with Bali Exploring Tours once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.
The price covers Transportation in an Air-conditioned vehicle, Petrol fuel, Mineral Water and driver. It does not cover Personal Expenses and Wheelchair, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Our guide Agus Lesmana was phenomenal! He is the best guide EVER! He took all of our photos for us and even had a drone and took all kinds of footage which he downloaded onto our phones for us. We visited a temple before heading to the waterfalls. Be prepared to hike a lot and ride on scooters to get you back to the falls. It’s totally worth the trek! Hiking sandals are a MUST. My driver, Komang, and the waterfall guide, Chavez, were absolutely amazing. They educated me on Bali, and were extremely accommodating to my impromptu requests. Would highly recommend. Chavez even went out of his way to take really good pictures of us.
It was an amazing experience. First of all, all the places included in the tour are amazing , from the temple to the three waterfalls, which you can also swin in. I think they must be added to every Bali’s bucket list. Remember that the entrance tickets are not included, as written in the details, and to dress like an onion, cause It’s colder up there. The drive was long, but very nice thanks to the beautiful views and to our driver, Putu. We had an absolutely mesmerising experience of waterfall tour with our driver Komang and tour guide. Komang gave us a peek into balinese culture on our route and we got to learn a lot about Bali and Indonesia. He was extremely generous and also made stunning videos of me and my wife together through a drone in front of waterfalls. I would 100% recommend this tour for the entire day.

The tour was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. In particular our guide, Lesmana, was extremely accommodating, incredibly friendly, and surprised us with his photo and video skills. Thank you very much, we would highly recommend it and would gladly do it again.
My boyfriend and I had one of the best days doing this tour. The waterfall is absolutely stunning and the water so refreshing for a swim. The team organised everything in the perfect time so we got there and didn’t have many people. We also got to see the massive rice fields and walk around them. Having the team to explain the culture, how everything works and taking us to the right spots was perfect! The team are so friendly and all the time making sure you are ok and having fun. We couldn’t be happier and definitely coming back next year with friends!

Lesmana and Luh are not only awesome guides but also some of the best humans I've ever met. I loved talking to them about their lives in Bali, their families, their work, their relationship to the land and to Balinese spirituality as I spent the day with them. They answered all my questions even to a personal level without being guarded in the slightest and I learned a lot from their lived experiences which is so radically different from mine. If you book this tour, definitely ask for Luh to be your waterfalls guide, she's a sweetheart! This tour was the biggest highlight of my 11 days in Bali
