Full description
This is a 1-hour experience from Ubud, built around Bali Pulina. It is run by Trip Gotik - Bali Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The Tegallalang terraces are twenty minutes north of Ubud on the road to Kintamani, and they are working paddies fed by the subak irrigation system that UNESCO listed in 2012. Before about 8:30 in the morning the valley belongs to the farmers, the paddies are still wet from the night, and it is cool enough to walk down through the terraces and up the far side. By ten the coaches from the south arrive and the road above the terraces becomes a line of cafes, swings and photo platforms. There is a small entry fee at the viewpoint, and farmers along the paths through the fields ask for a few thousand rupiah to cross their land, which is normal. The swings are separate businesses with their own prices.
The price covers 1 hour guided tour of Bali Pulina plantation, Luwak Coffee tasting, Bali Robusta Coffee Tasting, Bali Arabica Coffee Tasting and Jungle swing experience. It does not cover Personal expenses, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Sukar was our tour guide and he was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the activities we did and more. He gave us plenty of time to explore and he even took many pictures for us. I highly recommend this tour, we learned a lot and the experience was amazing.
We had an amazing day with Iwayan kar today! We were the first guests on this new tour that he is offering, and I am so glad we booked. The coffee experience was very interesting and it was cool to taste the luwak coffee. The swing was so much fun, and the instructors were absolute pros. The rice fields were beautiful and we really enjoyed our trek and engaging with the locals. Just make sure to bring comfortable shoes with good grip! Overall we had a fab time and we cannot thank Iwayan Kar enough for his knowledge-sharing, friendliness, and stellar photography skills.
Je pense que cette excursion ne vaut pas le prix que nous avons payé. La dégustation de café est à faire si vous venez à Bali mais par contre nous n’avons pas vraiment eu d’explication sur la plantation de café. Puis après nous avons vraiment à peine passé dans les rizières. Je pense que les deux activités proposées par cette excursion sont mieux à faire en autonomie plutôt que par un guide.
Great Tour with a lovely and experienced Guide/Driver (thanks, Mr. Popo). He explained a lot and in an authentic way about the farming in general and the caffee production in Bali and overall a lot information about the Island and Indonesia. He is a great Photographer, too. The tasting of different styles of Cafe and Tea was delicious. And the stroll trough the beautifull ricefields was amazing. We realy enjoyed the tour with him.
Tia was a very polite, professional and helpful guide. She shared a lot of insights about Balinese culture and life and offered a delightful experience. The car was in excellent conditions and the places we saw were well located to avoid long drives. Still there was a variety of things to do and since we were alone we enjoyed everything at our own pace. Tia was also flexible to stop quickly in a location that wasn't foreseen in the tour but was on our way. The pictures and videos taken by the staff (with our phone) at the swing place are simply stunning and everything was included in the price
Tour war sehr gut, einem wurde viel erzählt und erklärt. Der Tourguide Kar war auch sehr nett hat viel erklärt man konnte immer fragen stellen und man war privat für sich
