This is a 2-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by SAMSARA LIVING MUSEUM, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Ubud has a dance performance every night of the week. The Legong, danced by young women in tight gold costumes with fast eye and finger work, and the Barong, the lion-like guardian fighting the witch Rangda, are the two most staged, with the Kecak chant done by a circle of men without instruments. Performances run about 90 minutes from 7:30 at the royal palace, Puri Saren Agung, at the Ubud Water Palace and at ARMA, the Agung Rai museum, whose stage is set in the museum gardens; tickets are sold at the venue during the day. Seats are unreserved, so arrive by 7:00 for the front rows.
