This is a 4-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by Bali Charm, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The waterfalls around Ubud sit in a band to the east and south of the town, mostly within an hour's drive. Tegenungan is the closest and the busiest, with a broad fall and a pool at the bottom. Tibumana and Kanto Lampo, both in Bangli, are smaller and better for getting in the water: Tibumana drops in a single curtain into a clear pool, and at Kanto Lampo the water fans across a stepped rock face that people climb onto for photographs. All of them involve steps down and back up, and the rocks are slippery, so proper sandals or shoes that can get wet are the right footwear. The wet season, November to March, brings the fullest flow but also brown water for a day or two after heavy rain.

Päiväretkemme oli erittäin onnistunut ja monipuolinen. Pääsimme kokeilemaan batiikin tekoa, nautimme lounaan riisiviljelmiä katsellen, tutustuimme balilaiseen tee- ja kahvikulttuuriin sekä kävimme vesiputouksella. Päivän päätti vierailu temppelissä. I booked this very last minute and Wayan was very accomodating. On our trip to the batik class we had great chats about Bali and its cultural history, answering all my questions I had! The class was lots of fun, and I’m glad I was able to squeeze it in on my last day. The people running the class, took lots of photos of me working away which was great as I attended solo - so had no one to snap pics. They then sent me the photos after the class. Wayan also stopped at a store so I could run in and grab a lock for my suitcase. I had a delicious lunch overlooking the rice paddies, then Wayan kindl
I had a great day! Jun and the driver Leo did everything possible to make my trip. Memorable one. I spent as little and as much as I liked at each location and found it informative, fun, a mix of culture and nature 😊
What a great day. The Batik workshop was so fun, and to do an activity that that represents the area was just a unique opportunity. The guide provided great information about the local sites and was so helpful. I learned so much about Bali and its people on this tour. Was worth even second and penny.
