Full description
This is a 10-hour experience from Ubud, built around Mother Temple of Besakih, Tukad Cepung Waterfall and Penglipuran Village. It is run by Bali Diary Trans, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Tukad Cepung is a waterfall inside a narrow canyon near Tembuku in Bangli, about 45 minutes from Ubud, and it is known for the beams of light that reach the canyon floor when the sun is high. The beams appear roughly between 10:00 and noon on a clear day and not at all in heavy cloud, so timing matters more here than at any other waterfall around Ubud. The approach is a ten-minute walk down steps and then along the stream bed through the canyon, so shoes that can get wet are the right footwear. After heavy rain the stream rises and the water turns brown; in the wet season, November to March, the operator may swap it for another fall on the day.
Pickup is offered from Sanur and Ubud; the exact spot and time are agreed with Bali Diary Trans once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.

We had a great day with Mr. Endra. The communication was smooth before the tour and the company was easily reachable via whatsapp. On the day if the tour our driver picked us up right on time with a clean and comforrable car. He discussed the details of the tour with us, he explained cultural things we saw on our way. He helped us understand what to do and where to go once we arrived to Besakih temple. He came with us to the village and took our photos, he was very positive and we really felt like valuable guests. We would consider getting a tour with Mr Endra anytime.
Great driver and tour guide! Very flexible with time and providing the best experience. For example, Tukad Cepung is closed the day before Nyepi, so the guide drove us to Tegenungan waterfall instead!

Bene, l’autista ci ha portato in tutte le destinazioni e ci ha spiegato come entrare e cosa vedere. Peccato per il ristorante turistico finale, bello il panorama ma ci hanno spennato. Considerate che qualunque driver trovato a Bali vi porta negli stessi posti a meno di metà prezzo.
