Full description
This is a 2-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by Blue Lagoon Snorkeling, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Snorkelling off Nusa Penida is about the reef manta rays at Manta Point on the island's south coast, where they are present year-round, feeding and being cleaned in the swell at the base of the cliffs. Boats then move to calmer spots such as Crystal Bay, Gamat Bay and the wall at Buyuk for coral and fish. Between July and October, Crystal Bay is also the place divers come for the oceanic sunfish, mola mola, which rise from deep water in the cooler months. Manta Point is exposed to southern swell and boats skip it when the sea is up, so a day here is always weather-dependent. The crossing from Sanur is thirty to forty-five minutes.

Blue Lagoon Snorkeling sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Blue Lagoon Snorkeling before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

This was an excellent day out and great value for money. The snorkeling was fantastic. Would highly recommend.
The overall experience was good. It would have been helpful to have a few basic instructions (e.g., don't waste energy trying to swim deeper, just float and look down). Also, it would have been nice to have a ladder to climb down into the water instead of having to jump overboard, as we were a mixed age group and it was a bit difficult for the older members to get up on the side of the catamaran to jump off. Overall it was a great experience and I'd like to do it again.
Zuviele Boote gleichzeitig an den Spots, man hat keine Ruhe. Tanjung ist direkt neben dem Öl-Terminal, nicht wirklich romantisch. Es ist schwierig, bei so vielen Schnorchlern im Wasser dem eigenen Guide zu folgen. Das Meer war trüb und einiger Plastikmüll war zu sehen. Es gibt keine Achtsamkeit der Guides, den Müll einzusammeln. Und die Fische werden mit eingeweichtem Toastbrot angelockt, nicht sehr natürlich.
La actividad estuvo bien. Tuvimos problemas con el grab para llegar con antelación y la empresa no tuvo ningún inconveniente cuando le escribí y todo fueron facilidades. El snorkel en Tanjung Jepun fue increíble, precioso. Pero la verdad que blue lagoon dejó mucho que desear. Para ser un agua súper cristalina y que podría ser precioso, está lleno de basura y nadas entre botellas, bolsas, recipientes... Da asco. Además también había muchas minimedusas que picaban. Deberían tener las empresas un plan B o dedicar más tiempo en el primer sitio, si está tan sucio el otro. El guía fue siempre muy at

Le guide était super . Il nous montre plusieurs endroits, nous prend en photo .. seulement on doit rester ensemble et il y avait plusieurs personnes . Ça peut être rassurant mais faut juste le savoir . L’eau était magnifique et on a pu voir une tortue .

Last minute plan but definitely the smoothest! We had the most incredible snorkeling experience with Blue Lagoon Snorkeling. Made was an amazing guide and he took great photos of us with GoPro we rent. Tanjung Jepun were amazing!!! Really happy, would recommend them.
