Full description
This is a 8-hour experience in Ubud, built around Vintage car, Tibumana Waterfall and Tegallalang Rice Terrace. It is run by Your Bali Trekking Tour, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The Tegallalang terraces are twenty minutes north of Ubud on the road to Kintamani, and they are working paddies fed by the subak irrigation system that UNESCO listed in 2012. Before about 8:30 in the morning the valley belongs to the farmers, the paddies are still wet from the night, and it is cool enough to walk down through the terraces and up the far side. By ten the coaches from the south arrive and the road above the terraces becomes a line of cafes, swings and photo platforms. There is a small entry fee at the viewpoint, and farmers along the paths through the fields ask for a few thousand rupiah to cross their land, which is normal. The swings are separate businesses with their own prices.
Pickup is offered from Tegalalang, Badung Regency, Denpasar, Kuta, Kuta Selatan and Ubud; the exact spot and time are agreed with Your Bali Trekking Tour once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.
The price covers Private Volkswagen classic car ride, Driver, Petrol, Parking fees and Entrance tickets to attractions. It does not cover Lunch, Swing entry ticket and Personal expenses, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Your Bali Trekking Tour sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Your Bali Trekking Tour before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

The trip was good, and our driver, Mr. Froggy, treated us exceptionally well. He is a good photographer, carefully selects locations, is flexible with time, and is very accommodating. The car was excellent. My wife and I took the trip and enjoyed the swing, the rice fields, and the coffee factory (plantation). We took some photos in great spots around the Ubud area, with its highlands and beautiful places. Thank you, I highly recommend him!
