This is a 4-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by CV MUNDUK DANU BALI TOUR, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The waterfalls of north Bali are bigger and quieter than the ones around Ubud, and further away: Sekumpul, Banyumala, Gitgit and the falls around Munduk are all roughly two hours from Ubud on the road over the mountains past the lakes. Sekumpul is the largest on the island at about 80 metres, and reaching the base means a steep descent of several hundred steps and a river crossing, so it is a walk rather than a viewpoint stop. Munduk sits at around 800 metres, which makes it noticeably cooler and often misty in the afternoon. Days up here usually pair a waterfall with the lake temple at Ulun Danu Beratan and the Handara Gate.
Pickup is offered from Ubud, Lovina Beach, Kuta and Munduk; the exact spot and time are agreed with CV MUNDUK DANU BALI TOUR once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.

Adi, our guide, was exceptionally patient, kind, and thoughtful. He started by showing us around Ulun Danu Beratan Temple at our own pace, then carefully drove us to Sekumpul Waterfall (the drive is no joke!), where he made sure we were prepared for the hike. After the hike, when we were tired and hungry, Adi helped us buy fresh fruit from a local stand and brought us to a great local spot for babi guling. He was also incredibly patient and sweet with my daughter. We had a wonderful experience - highly recommended!
The tour was absolutely amazing. I had my own itinerary and we visited beautiful waterfalls, rice terraces, the local market and a coffee plantation. Some of these stops were not in my original plan but I really wanted to see them and Jimmy was incredibly kind and flexible to make it happen. He was polite, patient and very knowledgeable about the local area. He also suggested a few great places along the way that I would not have discovered otherwise. Unser Trip mit Yudi hat uns sehr gefallen, wir waren im Botanik Garden danach waren wir im Banyumala Waterfall und haben eine schöne Aussicht genossen, Yudi hat wirklich schöne Bilder von uns gemacht und sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben dabei. Danach waren wir auf einer Kaffeeplantage wo es ein Tasting gab es war sehr lecker. Danach gab es Mittagessen was genauso lecker war. Wir haben eine Kanutour gemacht und alle Leute waren sehr nett zu uns. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Tag und haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt mit Yudi. Ich kann diese Tour absolut weiter empfehlen!

We zijn de hele dag op pad geweest met Komang. Hij heeft ons meegenomen naar een tempel en meerdere watervallen. Erg mooi om te zien en met Komang een top ervaring!
le guide Yudi était super gentil et s'est adapté à nos envies et notre fatigue 😅 nous avons adoré la cascade Banyumala, les photos avec les serpents iguane et mangouste, la vue sur les lacs, le repas nous le conseillons !!!
