Full description
This is a 2-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by Agung Silver, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Ubud is the centre of Bali's craft villages: Celuk for silver and gold work, Mas for woodcarving, Batuan for its style of painting, and Batubulan for stone. Craft classes take the same skills into a workshop with an instructor and take three to four hours, and you leave with the piece you made. Silver classes work in sterling silver with hand tools, saws and a torch; carving classes work in soft hibiscus or jackfruit wood; batik uses hot wax and dye on cotton and needs time to dry. The classes are hands-on rather than demonstrations, so wear something that can take dye or wax.

Nous avons vécu une magnifique expérience en famille chez Agung Silver à Sidemen. Nous n’étions que tous les trois, ce qui a rendu ce moment encore plus spécial. L’atelier de création de bijoux en argent a été à la fois très instructif et convivial. Nous avons appris toutes les étapes de la fabrication d’une bague, que ma fille et moi avons réalisées nous-mêmes. L’équipe a été extrêmement patiente, bienveillante et passionnée, prenant le temps de tout nous expliquer sans jamais nous presser. Leuk maar duurde maar 1u ipv 2u en heel veel hebben we niet zelf kunnen doen.
Très bon après-midi chez Agung silver, afin de créer une bague en argent. Très bon accueil, avec un personnel adorable. Bon accompagnement dans la confection du bijou, même si j’aurai apprécié que mon accompagnateur m’explique plus en détails les différentes étapes. Je recommande cette activité ! :)
