Full description
This is a 3.5-hour experience from Ubud, built around Speedboat, Japanese Ship Wreck Point and Coral Garden. It is run by Balitour31, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Snorkelling off Nusa Penida is about the reef manta rays at Manta Point on the island's south coast, where they are present year-round, feeding and being cleaned in the swell at the base of the cliffs. Boats then move to calmer spots such as Crystal Bay, Gamat Bay and the wall at Buyuk for coral and fish. Between July and October, Crystal Bay is also the place divers come for the oceanic sunfish, mola mola, which rise from deep water in the cooler months. Manta Point is exposed to southern swell and boats skip it when the sea is up, so a day here is always weather-dependent. The crossing from Sanur is thirty to forty-five minutes.

This was the most beautiful snorkelling trip I have EVER done. Starting early meant we got to see a gorgeous sunrise over the ocean as well as not clashing with any other tour groups. To be honest I wasn’t sure if we’d see a turtle but we managed to see SIX of them! Our guide was absolutely phenomenal, I gave him my GoPro and he free dived so deep to capture some very surreal and unforgettable moments for me with all the fish and especially the turtles. My sister in law and I were the only ones on the tour that morning and we felt so safe and looked after. 1000% recommended everyone do this to

Amazingggg Must must experience. Specially in amed , such good views of both mountain and the ocean. The guide was soo helpful, almost forgot i did not know swimming well.
The guide was excellent, very good at finding sea turtles (saw 6) and ensured I got a good experience. One of the sites was too cloudy to see much so we went to an additional area. The corals are big and healthy would definitely recommend.

The whole trip was a lot of fun. Our two guides were very nice in a real honest and personal way, enjoying the trip and us having fun as well. They also took care of some personal wishes. We can only recommend them!
We had a great time snorkeling. We were transported smoothly from the hotel to the meeting point with a very nice driver. On the boat was Wayan our guide who guided us great and even though the water was blurry due to the big waves and strong current het spotted a turtle and a clownfish. Because if the blurry water, we didn't go to the Japanese shipwreck, so thank you for being honest about that, so we went to another point. All in all we had a great morning and we're really looked well after. thank you!

We had an absolutely brilliant snorkelling trip in Amed with two families, including adults and teenagers. We saw turtles, loads of tropical fish and beautiful coral, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Our guide was fantastic and made everyone feel safe and well looked after. The team provided all the equipment, towels and water, as well as lockers where we could safely leave our belongings while we were out on the boat.
