Full description
This is a 8-hour experience in Ubud, built around Ubud, Tirta Empul and Tegalalang. It is run by Trip Gotik - Bali Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The Tegallalang terraces are twenty minutes north of Ubud on the road to Kintamani, and they are working paddies fed by the subak irrigation system that UNESCO listed in 2012. Before about 8:30 in the morning the valley belongs to the farmers, the paddies are still wet from the night, and it is cool enough to walk down through the terraces and up the far side. By ten the coaches from the south arrive and the road above the terraces becomes a line of cafes, swings and photo platforms. There is a small entry fee at the viewpoint, and farmers along the paths through the fields ask for a few thousand rupiah to cross their land, which is normal. The swings are separate businesses with their own prices.

The whole day was amazing. All beautiful venues and our host Yogibearwithnohair was the best. From the yoga to the water purification and everything in between - it felt like a very authentic Bali experience. Even though we had rain for the water purification ceremony and it was fairly cool weather it was a pretty special experience that we will not forget. Highly recommend d this tour and the guide. 🙌🏼
My trip was amazing. I had Sumadi as a guide he spoke perfect english, took photos for me, he was funny and he provided information about each place we went to. I paid extra for the swing - it was fun I didn't realise it was a photo opportunity - when you get to the swing you can pay about $20 again to hire a long beautiful dress for photos. I also paid the extra $40 to see the palm reader and loved the experience. I highly recommend this tour and I highly recommond Sumadi - if you get him as your guide you are guaranteed an amazing day.
It was absolutely "A"mazing and 100% can recommend to anyone. The guide was very generous to change some part of the tour due to our body condition at last minute. We were able to learn so much about Bali and its culture and beautiful nature💚 We tried some palm reading learned about ourselves as well. Would love to come back again. Thank you, namaste🙏

A truly wonderful and enriching day in Ubud! We walked through beautiful and peaceful rice fields, practiced yoga with an amazing view in calm surroundings, and visited a sacred water temple where we were able to take part in a purification ceremony together with the locals. We also visited a Balinese fortune teller, which was a unique and fascinating experience. We also enjoyed cozy coffee stops and an incredibly fun jungle swing experience, which really was the perfect finishing touch to the day. A big part of what made this experience so special was our driver, Yani. She was incredibly kind

Amazing trip. Our guide was Wayu and driver was Tony. Both of them were really great. They picked us on time, took us to jungle swing, yoga class, spiritual cleansing in the temple, palm reading and lunch at the end. They were informative, patient, listened to our wishes.
