Full description

This is a 9-hour experience from Ubud, built around Kanto Lampo Waterfall, Tibumana Waterfall and Tegallalang Rice Terrace. It is run by Bali Travel Trip, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

The Tegallalang terraces are twenty minutes north of Ubud on the road to Kintamani, and they are working paddies fed by the subak irrigation system that UNESCO listed in 2012. Before about 8:30 in the morning the valley belongs to the farmers, the paddies are still wet from the night, and it is cool enough to walk down through the terraces and up the far side. By ten the coaches from the south arrive and the road above the terraces becomes a line of cafes, swings and photo platforms. There is a small entry fee at the viewpoint, and farmers along the paths through the fields ask for a few thousand rupiah to cross their land, which is normal. The swings are separate businesses with their own prices.

Pickup is offered from Kuta, Gianyar, Ubud, Denpasar City and Bali; the exact spot and time are agreed with Bali Travel Trip once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.

The price covers Hotel Pick Up and Drop Off, Private Driver and Guide, Mineral Water and Entrance Tickets. It does not cover Lunch and Tips, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Amazing experience my tour guide Wayan was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about the everywhere we visited. Quad biking was an experience I’ve never tried but did during this tour and I’m glad I did!

Myself and my partner had a great experience with Agust since it was our first time travelling to Bali and the first activity we had done this holiday. I really enjoyed the tour. Everything worked perfectly. My tour guide was Made; he informed me very well and was very friendly, so I felt very comfortable. My favorite part was the Goa Garba Temple. I would definitely recommend this tour.
