Full description

This is a 8-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by Bali Bangli Tour, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

The Tegallalang terraces are twenty minutes north of Ubud on the road to Kintamani, and they are working paddies fed by the subak irrigation system that UNESCO listed in 2012. Before about 8:30 in the morning the valley belongs to the farmers, the paddies are still wet from the night, and it is cool enough to walk down through the terraces and up the far side. By ten the coaches from the south arrive and the road above the terraces becomes a line of cafes, swings and photo platforms. There is a small entry fee at the viewpoint, and farmers along the paths through the fields ask for a few thousand rupiah to cross their land, which is normal. The swings are separate businesses with their own prices.

Unser Tag mit „Kan“ war spektakulär. Er hat uns in Bangli pünktlich abgeholt und sich vorher schon per WhatsApp vorgestellt. Das war super. Während der Fahrt hat uns Kan sehr viel über Bali erzählt. Das war sehr spannend und informativ. Wir haben viel über das balinesische Leben gelernt. Dann waren wir auf einer Kaffeefarm und haben Kaffee probiert. Lecker! Danach kam mein Highlight, der Tempel. „Kan“ hat so viel Wissen und alles so interessant erklärt! Anschließend hat Kan uns zur Bali Swing gebracht und wir haben Fotos gemacht. Dann hatten wir Hunger und Kan hat uns zu einem super Restaurant
