This is a 8-hour experience from Ubud, built around Tirta Empul, Tegallalang Rice Terrace and Kintamani. It is run by Your Bali Trekking Tour, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Tirta Empul is a water temple on the Pakerisan river at Tampaksiring, founded in 962 AD around a spring the Balinese hold sacred. The purification ritual, melukat, means entering the pool and moving from spout to spout under the water in order; two of the spouts are reserved for funeral rites and are not used, and a guide will show you which. Sarongs are provided at the entrance, and you will want a change of clothes for afterwards. The temple is busiest with local worshippers around full moon and on Balinese holy days, which is worth knowing rather than avoiding. The presidential palace built by Sukarno in the 1950s stands on the hill directly above the springs.

The driver was knowledgeable and very friendly. They shared a lot of Balinese culture knowledge with us. They were prompt to assist when required and adapted to our modified plans. The options for lunch were not great in my opinion, I would have preferred a traditional Balinese meal but was dropped off at buffet option. Other than that my partner and I truly enjoyed the experience. Thank you!!!

Had an amazing time with being shown great sites of Bali. Got to enjoy good coffee, tour amazing temples, do shopping at markets and takes lots of great pictures. I was also able to learn more about Bali history and culture.

Die Reisfelder boten atemberaubende Ausblicke und die Möglichkeit, die Schönheit der balinesischen Landschaft hautnah zu erleben. Und die Hot Springs waren der perfekte Ort, um zu entspannen und die natürliche Wärme zu genießen.

The tour was lovely. Nice to see a variety of different locations in one day. Our guide Abdi was informative of any questions we had and was very attentive to the whole family throughout the day.
