Full description
This is a 7-hour experience in Ubud, built around Taman Beji Griya Waterfall and Ubud. It is run by Trip Gotik - Bali Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The waterfalls around Ubud sit in a band to the east and south of the town, mostly within an hour's drive. Tegenungan is the closest and the busiest, with a broad fall and a pool at the bottom. Tibumana and Kanto Lampo, both in Bangli, are smaller and better for getting in the water: Tibumana drops in a single curtain into a clear pool, and at Kanto Lampo the water fans across a stepped rock face that people climb onto for photographs. All of them involve steps down and back up, and the rocks are slippery, so proper sandals or shoes that can get wet are the right footwear. The wet season, November to March, brings the fullest flow but also brown water for a day or two after heavy rain.

We waren een beetje vroeg. Ophaal was om 7 uur en de Beiji waterval ging pas om 9 uur open. Ik ben gaan liggen in de auto en hij haalde me om kwart voor 9 uit de auto. Ik mocht als eerste naar binnen en had daardoor het gevoel alsof alles was afgehuurd voor mij. Je krijgt je eigen gids daar, die je alles uitlegt en meeneemt in het ritueel. Heel bijzonder! En erg mooi met alle watervallen en de hoeveelheid goden die ze daar eren. Zeker de moeite waard. Daarna de koffie proeverij gehad en gevolgd door lunch, waarna we afsloten met de Money forest! Erg leuk, fijn dat ze vrij zijn (gaan ook over h
