Full description
This is a 6-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by PT. Gorilla Adventures Bali, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The waterfalls around Ubud sit in a band to the east and south of the town, mostly within an hour's drive. Tegenungan is the closest and the busiest, with a broad fall and a pool at the bottom. Tibumana and Kanto Lampo, both in Bangli, are smaller and better for getting in the water: Tibumana drops in a single curtain into a clear pool, and at Kanto Lampo the water fans across a stepped rock face that people climb onto for photographs. All of them involve steps down and back up, and the rocks are slippery, so proper sandals or shoes that can get wet are the right footwear. The wet season, November to March, brings the fullest flow but also brown water for a day or two after heavy rain.

The trip was absolutely amazing. My partner and I went horse riding, to the waterfalls and then we did the zip line in ubud. We had an amazing drive, Blank who drove us a more than 4 hours during the trip . He let us stop to get Bintang to drink in the car as well as him letting us smoke in the car. Blanc was so kind and friendly and by far one of the best drivers we have seen in Bali so far. 100% recommend Blank he is a legend! Thankyou Blank for such an amazing day and some great chats throughout!
We had good experience to visit beautiful rice paddies, delicious coffee tasting at a coffee plantation, and amazing horseriding experience at Saba beach. The black sand beach was especially so cool, it was quiet when we came so we had good pictures and unique experience riding the horse with blue sky and sea. Our driver, mas Dede, was especially kind and understanding. We were late but he tried to accommodate us and never try to rush us. We really appreciate it. We also had good talk during the road trip. It was really pleasant. Recommended!
This tour was amazing! It was a long day so it was great to have such an amazing guide, Jay made sure we were comfortable, did all ticket collecting and showed us the best spots. From the very beginning to the very end, everything was absolutely perfect. The organization and pick-up were smooth and well arranged, and even the journey back to our accommodation at the end of the tour was handled perfectly. What a fabulous day! So worth it! Our driver putu deo was brilliant so informative, kept us updated throughout the journeys, excellent photographer and captured the moments amazingly! Anyone who gets him is in for a treat!

Sudarmawan was a fantastic driver! He even took us to an extra spot, a coffee farm, because I had mentioned I could go for more coffee. And then we wanted a late lunch and he was happy to bring us someplace delicious and wait for us. He also took lots of great photos of us! The waterfall, horseback riding on black sand beach (I wouldn’t recommend wearing shorts), and zip lining were all unforgettable.
Suarez was an incredibly kind and friendly guide who took great care of me throughout the entire day! The horse riding on the beach was one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve ever had, and it’s a memory I’ll never forget. The zipline was also so thrilling and a lot of fun! If I come back to Bali, I would definitely love to book another tour with Suarez. Highly recommended!
