Full description
This is a 1-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by Green Bikes Bali, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Jatiluwih is the largest stretch of terraced paddy on Bali, around 600 hectares on the southern slopes of Mount Batukaru in Tabanan, and it is the showcase of the subak irrigation system that UNESCO listed in 2012. Unlike Tegallalang, there is room to walk for an hour or two on marked paths through the fields without traffic or swings, and the terraces here are wide and flat rather than steep. Rice is planted in cycles, so the fields are bright green for some months and cut stubble for others; ask the operator what stage they are at if the photographs matter to you. Mornings are clearer, and cloud tends to build over Batukaru after midday.
The price covers Electric bike, Helmet, Guide, Insurance and Water. It does not cover Jatiluwih Rice Terrace entrance fee, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Green Bikes Bali sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Green Bikes Bali before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

This activity was great, riding through the rice fields. However I thought it would be a relaxing ride but didn’t think about some of the rocky paths or turns. I can ride a bike however first time on a e-bike so I ended up falling at a turn. However the guide was great in making sure I was ok and cleaned up the little scratches. It was an experience alright 😅

C’était vraiment super ! Notre guide nous as énormément fait découvrir sur la nature environnante. Ils nous a fait de superbe clichés ! Les vélos était top et heureusement que nous avons prit électrique car c’est un peu sport parfois ! Nous recommandons à fond ! Merci !
