This is a 15-minute experience in Ubud. It is run by Bali Activity Travel: Bali Camels Ride, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Horse riding on Bali happens on the black-sand beaches of Gianyar, at Saba and Keramas, half an hour south-east of Ubud, and at Sanur and Seminyak in the south. Rides run 60 to 90 minutes at a walk and trot along the sand and through the coconut groves behind it, on small, quiet Indonesian horses, with a guide leading beginners on a lead rope; helmets are provided and long trousers are sensible. Early morning and the last hour before sunset are the times to ride, for the light and because the sand is too hot underfoot in the middle of the day.

The price covers One camel can be ridden by two people, Changing Room, Locker Box, Insurance Cover and Refreshment. It does not cover Personal Expenses and Transport, so budget for those separately. Het was een leuke activiteit maar het koste als eerst al kei veel geld & dat is het zeker niet waard om een halfuur heen & weer te wandelen op de kameel. Er is een fotograaf mee en die neemt tijdens de rit allerlei foto’s maar na je activiteit krijg je nog eens te horen dat je daar ook nog eens 30€ voor moet betalen wat wij persoonlijk wel heel jammer vonden aangezien het al zo prijzig was. Het was leuk maar het was t geld zeker niet waard dus ik zou zeggen doe liever iets anders met je geld!
