Full description
This is a 2.5-hour experience from Ubud, built around Traditional village. It is run by Dewa Bike Tour, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Kintamani is the ridge on the rim of the Batur caldera, at about 1,500 metres, and the viewpoint at Penelokan looks down on the volcano, the lava field of the 1968 eruption and Lake Batur. It is cool enough for a jacket. Penglipuran, in Bangli on the road up, is a traditional village of stone-paved lanes and bamboo-roofed compounds that keeps its layout under village rules, with a bamboo forest behind it. The coffee plantations along this road sell tastings of local arabica and robusta and the civet-processed kopi luwak; the tastings are free with the expectation of a purchase, and the caged civets at some of them are worth asking about before you buy.
The price covers Bicycle + helmet, Mineral water, Guide, Refreshment and Cold fresh towel. It does not cover Pick up - return transport, Lunch and Entry/Admission - Mount Batur, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
PUKUH SARI. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Dewa Bike Tour before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Incredible Cultural Experience & Smooth Downhill Ride! We joined this as a private tour and had an amazing time. The team was very accommodating; they flexibly adjusted our start time so we could stop at the Mount Batur viewpoint during our car charter on the way to the starting point. The 2.5-hour ride was pure bliss. Since it is mostly downhill, it felt incredibly refreshing rather than exhausting. Along the way, we visited an elementary school, local farms, temples, and stunning rice terraces. Our guide’s detailed explanations of Balinese culture made the trip truly educational and satisfyi
This was an amazing tour. You don't do much cycling, more cruising downhill. However, the views are nice and our guide Pan Nilam was very knowledgeable about local Bali life. We were happy we did the tour!
Super nice! The guide knew a lot and did bring us to beautiful places. I would do it again for sure!
Beautiful scenery Route with Agus The perfect Guide !
we loved our tour, our guide was so lovely! The bike ride was mostly downhill and very easy, we stopped at a local school, home and multiple rice fields, it was amazing! would 100% reccomend
This was by far the best part of my trip to Bali. All the experience was great from the meeting point easy to find, to the incredible assistance from Dode who was our guide, he had everything ready for the ride, safety gear, he offered me water and explained to me the route to follow. At the beginning I was worried it can be a challenge to go cycling because of traffic and to keep up with my physical condition but the route he choose was pretty smooth using secondary roads away from traffic and having some rest time to time. During the ride you will get inspired by the rice fields and temples.
We had a fabulous day riding and seeing some tradition Ubud culture - doing a private tour meant we had time to chat about the places we went with our guide who was fabulous 🚴♀️🚴
Fantastic day adventure, Adi is a great person to escort us on our ride, he was very accommodating and informative. Have done many bike ride tours but this was one of the best, highly recommended
