Full description
This is a 6-hour experience in Ubud, built around Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, Cretya Ubud and Tegallalang. It is run by Trip Gotik - Bali Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The Sacred Monkey Forest in Padangtegal, on the southern edge of Ubud town, is around 12 hectares of forest holding roughly a thousand long-tailed macaques and three temples that date from the fourteenth century. The monkeys are wild and used to people, which is a combination that costs visitors sunglasses, water bottles and anything edible every day; the rule is to carry nothing loose, to avoid eye contact with a monkey that is staring at you, and never to touch one. The forest opens at 9:00 and the last hour before closing is the quietest. The temples inside are working temples and are entered only by worshippers.
Pickup is offered from Bali, Badung Regency and Sukawati; the exact spot and time are agreed with Trip Gotik - Bali Tours once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.
The price covers Guide, Mineral water, Entrance ticket to Monkey Forest, Entrance ticket to Cretya Ubud and Pool access at Cretya Ubud. It does not cover Meals & personal expenses, Jungle swing access, Skybike access and Gratuities, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

The day trip ran very smoothly!! Nyoman was a very friendly driver & nothing was too much for him, we stopped for lunch because we were hungry at this very good restaurant which he recommended & we were able to have as much time at each place as possible which was a bonus because we weren’t restricted to a time!! Nyoman even came around Monkey Forest with us & told us information about the temples. Overall, we had such a good day & couldn’t have asked for a better driver & guide!!😊😊
Everything was amazing from start to finish! Our guide, Udi, was brilliant - he picked us up on time and was so friendly. He allowed us to have as much time as we pleased at the monkey forest before taking us to Cretya. He gave us so many suggestions of things to do in Ubud and was so informative. Cretya was beautiful and worth every penny! Thank you to Udi for making our day so special :)

Unbelievable, from the monkeys to the rice terraces and the mini coffee tour included and the pools and zip lines/swings this was the best day I've had so far and well worth the money would 100% recommend booking this for an experience, my driver Ketut was also the best he was so helpful and amazing and friendly, would book him again

Our guide was incredibly welcoming from the start and made us feel comfortable straight away. He even brought us some traditional sweets to try during the car ride, which was such a thoughtful touch.
