Full description
This is a 9-hour experience from Ubud, built around Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, Tirta Empul and Tibumana Waterfall. It is run by Bali Travel Trip, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The Tegallalang terraces are twenty minutes north of Ubud on the road to Kintamani, and they are working paddies fed by the subak irrigation system that UNESCO listed in 2012. Before about 8:30 in the morning the valley belongs to the farmers, the paddies are still wet from the night, and it is cool enough to walk down through the terraces and up the far side. By ten the coaches from the south arrive and the road above the terraces becomes a line of cafes, swings and photo platforms. There is a small entry fee at the viewpoint, and farmers along the paths through the fields ask for a few thousand rupiah to cross their land, which is normal. The swings are separate businesses with their own prices.
Pickup is offered from Kuta, Denpasar City, Gianyar, Gianyar Regency, Badung Regency and Bali; the exact spot and time are agreed with Bali Travel Trip once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.
The price covers Hotel pickup and drop-off, Private driver and guide, Mineral water and Entrance tickets. It does not cover Lunch and Tips, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Such a well spent day. I started early, with a pick-up at 6AM. It may feel like it's too early but it is worth it as you reach the rice fields and you have them all to yourself. Eddie plays an important role, as he is not only your driver but also becomes your personal photographer ☺️ Eddie makes you feel at ease throughout the tour, showing flexibility and letting you decide how long you wish to spend at each spot. Some of the main attractions are covered on this tour. Highly recommended!

everything was really nice. the pick up was on time and beforehand our guide suggested wrote us to make sure that we find him. First we went to the monkey forest where our guide organised the tickets and already explained a bit. on the trip, He always made sure that we see everything we wanted to see. We went to the rice terrace where we had as much time as wen needed. At the waterfall and at the temple he also took photos of us. additionally he explained a lot about Bali and the living here which was really interesting. he answered all our questions. to sum it up Sugi made sure that we had a

de activiteiten waren top en ook de chauffeur Budi was top, gezellig en goed ons begeleid naar de bezienswaardigheden. enige nadeel is het enorm drukke verkeer, daardoor hebben we de terugweg erg kang erover gedaan, maar verder super en zou ik zeker aanraden.
Es war wirklich eine fantastische Tour, unser Guide Gede hat sich extra am Vortag nochmals gemeldet um mit uns die direkte Abholung an unserer Unterkunft abzusprechen, war am nächsten Tag überpünktlich da und hat uns den Tag über super mit gekühltem Wasser versorgt um gegen die Hitze zu bestehen. Alle Spots waren ein absolutes Highlight begonnen mit dem Affenwald, auch hier hat Gede tolle Arbeit geleistet und mit unseren eigenen Smartphones noch wirklich tolle Fotos von uns geschossen.
