This is a 2-day experience in Ubud. It is run by Din Trekking Rinjani}, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Walking around Ubud means the river gorges and the terraces. The Campuhan ridge is the easy one, two kilometres on a paved path. The hidden canyon at Beji Guwang, in Sukawati, is a river walk through a narrow sandstone gorge with a guide, waist-deep in places, closed after heavy rain. Longer treks head into the hills above Sidemen or Munduk or up Batur and Agung before dawn. Mornings are the time for all of it: by 11:00 the humidity is heavy, and wet-season afternoons, November to March, bring rain from about two o'clock. Carry a litre of water per person and shoes with grip.

Hiking to the top is really really tough, but totally worth to see the sunrise. The guides, Ali and Andi, were really supportive, helping us in moments of need and always caring about how we were handling the ascent to the summit. Big shout out also to the porters carrying all the necessary stuff for the journey. Food was also very good (especially when you are hungry from hiking all day). If you are a trekking lover, I would totally recommend!
Our 2D/1N trek to Mount Rinjani was unforgettable! Awan was an excellent guide — always attentive, caring, and making sure we felt safe and comfortable throughout the hike. Man, our porter and cook, was also incredibly kind and prepared delicious meals for us at every stop — truly impressive given the mountain conditions! The day before, Din clearly explained the program to us and made sure we were well-prepared. He was also our driver on the way back and everything went perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a better team — thank you all for making this adventure so special! Highly recommend!

We had a great experience hiking Mt. Rinjani with Din Trekking. Our guide took great care of us along the hike and made sure we were safe. Our porter took care of carrying all the gear and cooked excellent food. The hike was tough but well worth the effort for the views up on the summit. Considering every that was included, the tour was great value for money.
We had a great time doing the 2D1N trip - the hike was good getting to the base camp and then the summit was tough going but amazing for sunrise. Our guide was lovely and the food was tasty and lots of it. The only downside was equipment - we shared a headtorch and could have done with walking poles each (one was broken so we couldn’t use). But we had a lovely time and they picked us up and dropped us at our hotels after the trip. Would definitely recommend!
Two amazing days to the vulcano with our guide Sun, really nice! would recommend tje 2nd summit at 3150, much less people and equally good view!

Fenomenal! Din súper atento. Nos llevó a su oficina (que también es su casa) para explicarnos todo y ver que necesitábamos. El guía Ris y el porteador unos máquinas. Totalmente recomendable y ojo a las agujetas del día siguiente
Unser Guide war mega nett, hat einen kompetenten Eindruck gemacht und hat sich große Mühe gegeben. Sein Englisch war ausreichend, sodass man sich verständigen konnte. Auch unser Porter war super nett und das Essen fast schon zu viel. Wir würden die Tour genau so wieder machen.
