This is a 5-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by CV MUNDUK DANU BALI TOUR, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

The waterfalls of north Bali are bigger and quieter than the ones around Ubud, and further away: Sekumpul, Banyumala, Gitgit and the falls around Munduk are all roughly two hours from Ubud on the road over the mountains past the lakes. Sekumpul is the largest on the island at about 80 metres, and reaching the base means a steep descent of several hundred steps and a river crossing, so it is a walk rather than a viewpoint stop. Munduk sits at around 800 metres, which makes it noticeably cooler and often misty in the afternoon. Days up here usually pair a waterfall with the lake temple at Ulun Danu Beratan and the Handara Gate.

We had such a wonderful day! We were picked up directly from our hotel at the exact time we preferred, which made everything very easy and relaxed. We started with a beautiful bike ride with a local guide, passing an amazing viewpoint overlooking the lakes. Afterwards, we took a short walk through the jungle to reach the canoes. The canoe trip itself was incredibly peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by beautiful nature. After the activity, we were taken to a lovely lunch spot where we enjoyed delicious local food, and afterwards we were driven all the way back to our hotel. Everything was very
